Episode 14 Week Eight Results - 10/05/2011 The show begins with an encore Argentine Tango from Kirstie & Maks. It's another fine performance that's capped with the exciting news that these two are definitely headed into the semifinals along with Hines & Kym.

DanceCenter is back with dancing machine Kenny Mayne, football great Jerry Rice and the legendary Len Goodman. They give us a compelling (i.e. confusing) breakdown of Kirstie and Romeo as dancers. After that, old friend Michael Bolton takes to the stage. And no, he didn't come out of a doghouse. He does, however, give a fine performance of "I'm Not Ready" with Delta Goodrem.

Delta returns to the stage to pinch-hit for Adele, who will still appear later in the show. She belts out her rendition of "(You Make Me Feel Like) A Natural Woman" with very little rehearsal time.

Believe it or not, Delta's rush performance isn't the top story when DanceCenter returns. Instead, the oddball anchors critique Ralph, Hines and Chelsea in typically disturbing (yet funny) fashion.

As promised, Adele takes to the stage to perform "Rolling in the Deep." Afterwards, Ralph & Karina and Romeo & Chelsie learn they are in jeopardy. That means Chelsea & Mark will be dancing in the semifinals for sure.

When the final results are revealed, it's a total shocker. Ralph & Karina are moving on which means Romeo & Chelsie are heading home. Told ya it was a shocker!

This particular Results Show just goes to prove anyone can win the coveted Mirrorball Trophy this season. We'll see what happens next week when the remaining dancers take part in a Winner-Takes-All Cha Cha!

Episode 15 Week Eight Performance - 09/05/2011 We're down to the final five. After tonight, only four will survive. Each team must perform two routines, one of which is an Instant Latin Dance. The teams learn their tune for the Instant Dance after their first routine. First up is…








Chelsea & Mark : "Lovely" is the word to describe the Waltz that's turned in by Chelsea & Mark. Len thinks this team sometimes puts a little too much emphasis on the story thereby making it a bit too theatrical. Bruno thought the contemporary touches in the classic waltz were right on the money. Carrie Ann felt Chelsea earned perfection tonight. Scores of 10-9-10 give them a total 29. It also makes them the first couple to earn two 10s in one dance this season.

Chelsea had a visit from Kyle Massey during rehearsals to prep for her instant dance, which is performed to "Get Busy" by Sean Paul. There was a whole lotta shakin' goin' on during their fast-paced dance. Len is impressed and Bruno loves that they didn't take any shortcuts. Carrie Ann, however, didn't feel like they connected to the music. Scores of 8-9-9 give them 26 for this dance and a total of 55 for the night.








Hines & Kim : It's good, cheesy fun as Hines and Kym skip through their fabulous Foxtrot. Bruno says the team was beaming throughout the dance. Carrie Ann thinks Hines is a guy's guy and doesn't try to hide it. Len agrees that it's a joyful experience to watch them dance. 9-9-10 from the judges gives them a total of 28. As usual, Hines is all smiles after this one.

Hines had never done the Jive, let alone an Instant Jive to "Chantilly Lace." Bruno says that despite the happy feet he had on display, Hines did a fine job with just 20 minutes prep time. Carrie Ann and Len know the Jive is a tough routine. They both feel Hines and Kym did the dance justice. 9-9-8 from the judges gives them a total of 26 for this dance and 54 for the night.








Romeo & Chelsie : It's a fantastic light show as Romeo & Chelsie take to the dancefloor. Carrie Ann thought this team was dancing like they meant it. The movements were sharp and in sync. Len believes they are three-for-three as far as fine dances for the night. Bruno was also a fan of their Tango. Trip 9s from the judges gives this team a total of 27 so far.

Romeo and Chelsie's instant dance to "Tequila" has lots of shakes, spins and twists. Carrie Ann felt their Salsa definitely had a club feel, but it also felt a little off. The night's Mr. Nice Guy, Len Goodman, loved it. Bruno, however, thought the pair lost the fluidity of the dance. 8-9-8 from the judges gives them a total of 25 for this dance and 52 for the night.








Ralph & Karina : Ralph lost some practice days due to a ruptured cyst in his leg. The team only had nine hours of rehearsal time. Typically, they would have put in 40. Well, you would have hardly known they had so many problems judging by the Viennese Waltz they do. Len thought the lack of rehearsal time led to the fact that the dance wasn't all that polished. He still thought they did a fine job, all things considered. The other judges agree. 8-8-9 scores give them a total of 25

Ralph & Karina's instant Cha Cha Cha to "Stuck in the Middle" starts off with a subtle "Karate Kid" reference. Karina channels her inner-Miyagi to heel Ralph's wounded leg. It somewhat works, but the pair has a tough time pushing through the dance. But push through they do. Trip 7s from the judges gives them 21 for this dance and 46 for the night. Will it be enough?








Kirstie & Maks : After witnessing a couple of tough falls during rehearsals, we end up getting a sexy, sensual, sultry Argentine Tango from Kirstie & Maks. Bruno says Kirstie's body is shrinking, but her talent is huge. Carrie Ann thinks Kirstie topped her Cha Cha with this dance. Len agrees that it was hot, hot, hot. Scores of 9-9-10 give them a total of 28 and gives this team their first perfect score of the season from a judge.

The Instant Salsa Kirstie and Maks do to "Cobrastyle" draws mixed reactions from the judges and a censored word from Bruno's. As for Carrie Ann and Len, they liked the slow, smooth, oily effect of it all. 8-9-8 from the judges gives them a total of 25 for this dance and 53 for the night.

Instant Dance Night ends with the realization that the final five will soon become the final four in just a little while. It's still anybody's ballgame in the ballroom!

Dancing with the Stars S12E14

Episode 14 Week Seven Results - 03/05/2011 After a rockin' encore dance from Team Chelsea, Hines & Kym learn they are safe while Kirstie and Maks are in jeopardy. The crowd doesn't like the news. Tom Bergeron calms them by blaming everything on the producers.






Moments later, Nicki Minaj is getting them riled up again in a good way as she performs her hit "Moment For Life."







Patricia Zhou makes her TV debut doing a beautiful ballet accompanied by guest artist Priscilla Ahn. This young dancer wows the crowd with her talent and grace. After Patricia leaves the floor, Ralph & Karina learn they are safe while Chelsea and Mark remain in jeopardy.

Wayne Brady leads a rousing, dancing tribute to James Brown. After this performance, you can't help but exclaim, "I feel good!"






James Blunt follows him with another terrific performance. Then we learn that Romeo & Chelsie are safe which means Kendra & Louis are left in jeopardy.

Kirstie & Maks and Chelsea & Mark learn they are moving on to next week. That means Kendra & Louis must take their last dance. For Kendra, she's grateful for the journey and happy to get back to being a mom to her baby at home. See you next week!

Dancing with the Stars S12E13

Episode 13 Week Seven Performance - 02/05/2011 It's "Ballroom Greats" Week and Latin dance champ Donnie Burns joins the judges at the table. They are all treated to a round of team dances to kick things off.






First up is…






Team Chelsea
This three-team group consists of Chelsea & Mark, Ralph & Karina and Romeo & Chelsie. The dancers take to the floor dressed in slick, black pleather for a high-energy Cha Cha. Len liked it a lot, but Bruno felt the group lost sync. Carrie Ann disagreed, adding that Ralph held his own with this young, edgy crew. There are four scores tonight, with Donnie Burns always showing his paddle first. The scores are 8-8-7-7 for a team total of 30.






Team Hines
This three-team group consists of Hines & Kym, Kendra & Louis and Kirstie & Maks. It's another fine Cha Cha from group number two. There were seamless transitions and booty-shaking solos. Carrie Ann thought Kirstie was a bit behind the group at times, but she rocked her solo action. Donnie wasn't crazy about the spacing between the dancers. As for Len and Bruno, they were a tad more impressed. 7-7-8-8 from the judges gives Team Hines a total of 30 for a tie with Team Chelsea. Now onto the individual dances!






Chelsea & Mark
Mark's mom, dance legend Shirley Ballas helps out during rehearsals. Her biggest challenge was getting Chelsea to stop smiling, as the Paso Doble is a very dramatic dance. Len thought the dance was too aggressive and was confused by it all. Donnie was also confused after feeling Chelsea had the best routine out of everyone last week. Bruno felt it had violent intensity and Carrie Ann thought their dance pushed the boundaries. 8-9-8-9 from the judges leaves them with a total of 34.






Kendra & Louis
The dancers hit the floor with a steady precision that continued all through their Tango. Bruno felt it was elegant, yet sexy. Carrie Ann also thought it was top notch. She's very proud of Kendra. Donnie and Len thought they did very well with some extremely demanding choreography. Scores of 8-8-7-8 give this dancing duo a total of 31.






Kirstie & Maks
Kirstie & Maks do the Jive to a rocking version of "La Bamba" to the delight of the crowd. Carrie Ann, however, wasn't as thrilled with this particular dance. Len also felt the choreography was rather uneventful. Bruno thought as an entertainer, Kirstie rocked it. Her musicality and instincts are on the money. And in a bit of a surprise, Donnie was thoroughly impressed, feeling Kirstie has talent that shines between the steps. 9-7-6-8 from the judges gives them a total of 30.






Ralph & Karina
Well, it was all about showmanship with Ralph & Karina's Quickstep set in a speakeasy. They told a neat little story that ended with a quick drink before taking an intentional tumble behind a bar. The dancers popped up to hear Donnie say Ralph had fabulous footwork tonight. Len also felt the footwork was crisp and clean, but wants more stability in the upper body. Bruno felt Ralph was in the zone and Carrie Ann loved the fun exuberance of it all. Guest judge Donnie Burns gives Ralph his first 10 of the season. The other judges give scores of 9-8-9 for a total of 36.






Hines & Kim
We didn't really see that killer smile from Hines until the end of his Tango. That's because Hines & Kym were all business during their James Bond-esque dance. At the end of it all, Len thought it went from dramatic to dainty. But overall it was good. Bruno thought it was a killer Tango, but Carrie Ann felt Hines might have been a bit off-balance this week. Donnie loves the charisma Hines exudes, but his arms made it look like he was trying to fly. Nevertheless, scores of 9-9-8-10 for 36 are enough to tie them for the lead with Ralph and Karina.






Romeo & Chelsie
Romeo said he was throwing a Samba party and everyone is invited. Romeo & Chelsie shake things up from the get-go. Bruno says Romeo certainly can shake it, but his bounce needs work. Carrie Ann agrees that he needs to focus on his technique. Donnie feels Romeo has improved throughout the season, but this wasn't his shining moment. Len agrees that he needs to up his game each and every performance night. 7-8-7-8 gives them a total of 30.

The celebration of Ballroom Greats ends with Ralph & Karina tied for the lead with Hines & Kym. Kirstie & Maks and Romeo & Chelsie are at the bottom of the board. Who will go home? We'll find out soon enough in the Results Show.

Dancing with the Stars S12E12

Episode 11 Week Six Results - 26/04/2011 In case you're wondering what NKOTBSB stands for, it's what happens when the New Kids on the Block merge with the Backstreet Boys. Two of the most popular boy bands of all time take to the Dancing With The Stars stage to kick off the night in fine "guilty pleasures" fashion.






The first results report of the night reveals that Romeo & Chelsie and Chelsea & Mark are safe. Then Kendra & Louis treat the crowd to an encore performance of their sexy Samba. It was still super-hot judging by the look on Len's face.

We learn that the next couple definitely still in the competition is Hines & Kym. Kirstie & Maks are also safe. Then kids take the stage for the first part of the "Macy's Stars of Dance" performance. They grow up right before our eyes. The dance comes full circle as a senior couple sways until the two kids who kicked off the dance bring it to a happy ending.





Pia Toscano wows the crowd while Mark and Karina dance to her rendition of "I'll Stand By You." You'll be happy to know Tom didn't make things awkward by asking Pia if she's dating Mark. He merely asked if he was a good kisser. Smooth, Tom. Real smooth.

The next safe couple is Kendra & Louis. Despite a spill the night before, Ralph & Karina are also moving on. That means Chris & Cheryl must say goodbye to the ballroom. Chris joked that this is good timing, as he has a Royal Wedding to attend anyway.







As for the rest of the stars, they'll have to stay stateside for rehearsals until the next time they take center stage.
