The Cape S01E10




Episode 10 - Cape's Day Off..(07/03/2011)..

To cover his operations, Fleming frames Marty Voyt and forces him to remain silent or lose his family. When Dana takes on Marty's case, Vince must defend his wife and former friend from ARK troopers intent on eliminating them both.


The Cape follows a former cop, Vince Faraday (David Lyons), who resigns from the force to take on the criminal mastermind, Chess (Peter Frain). Vince unwittingly signs up for a security force run by Chess' alter-ego Peter Fleming. So he can "disappear" as a supervillain, Fleming frames Vince to make the police believe that he is Chess. Seemingly killed, Vince is taken in by the Circus of Crime, run by owner Max Malini (Keith David). Still believing that Vince is Chess, Max trains him in martial arts and how to use a black cloth as a weapon. Vince vows to fight crime and seek revenge against Chess. Since he can't return to his wife Dana (Jennifer Ferrin) and son Trip (Ryan Wynott), without putting them at risk, Vince takes on the identity of his son's favorite comic book hero, The Cape. Aiding him in his struggle is a mysterious blogger, Orwell (Summer Glau).

Episode 09 - Razer (28/02/2011)..

Scales makes a tenuous alliance with Chess to protect his gang's territory and calls a dangerous villian, Razer, to the city. However, the Cape swoops in to stop Razer and take his place by disguising himself to gain entry to Scales' gang. Fleming battles his alter ego Chess, while Orwell is still glum and alludes to an unclear future.

Episode 08 - The Lich 2 (21/02/2011)..

Dana becomes involved in The Cape's world when Orwell is kidnapped by The Lich. A victim of Conrad Chandler's strong serum, Orwell is incapacitated, reliving her past between moments of reality and fiction. As Orwell fights physiological and mental effects of the drug, The Cape, Max, and Rollo must use Dana's legal connections to find her by finding The Lich.

Episode 07 - The Lich 1 (14/02/2011)..

Conrad Chandler, the orphaned heir of one of Palm City's founders, seeks revenge on the city that refused to acknowledge his inheritance. Vince and Max are forced to notify Marty Voyt, only to have things go badly. Meanwhile, Orwell works with Patrick Portman to try to locate Chandler, while Dana tries to adjust to her new social life.

Max advises Vince to give the Cape a rest while he recovers from exhaustion. However, Fleming, out to kill the Cape, hires a technologically gifted team, including Goggles and Hicks. Orwell finds it hard to fight the kill team digitally. Elsewhere, Dana grows closer to uncovering truths in Vince's case.

Episode 05 - Dice (31/01/2011)..

Tracey Jarrod, a young intellectual masquerading as Dice, comes to Palm City seeking revenge on Chess for her father's death. Meanwhile, Chess as Peter Fleming and the ARK Corporation plan to reveal a special device, inspired by Jarrod and stolen from her father, which could change Palm City. The Cape is forced to help his archenemy upon realizing that to take Chess down he has to keep him alive. Rollo, Ruvi, Raia, and Max help Vince master new skills as he fights to accept how his choices affect his wife and son.

Episode 03 - Kozmo (17/01/2011)..

Max Malini's old friend Gregor Molotov has come to town, but not for a friendly visit. He is looking for whoever has the cape, and The Cape/Vince has to protect the carnies who took him in. Dana, Vince's wife, returns to work after grieving his loss and sees Palm City's corruption at work in the public defender's office. She also discovers there were witnesses when Vince vanished.

Episode 02 - Tarot (09/01/2011)..

Ark Corporation's aim is at prison privatization, but The Cape will battle Chess and his newest ally Cain to stop it. As Chess and Cain set their sights on Secretary for the Bureau of Prisons Patrick Portman, the Cape intervenes, barely surviving the encounter. Orwell, Max Malini, and the circus gang band together to help the Cape recover and also save Patrick.

Former police sergeant Vince Faraday is framed as notorious criminal Chess and seemingly dies in an explosion when ARK corporation security forces open fire on him. Mentored by Max Malini among a gang of bank robbers who use carnival talents, Vince must leave behind his wife Dana and son Trip to fight against corruption in Palm City. Villains include Scales and nemesis Chess, whose other persona is ARK billionaire Peter Fleming.
