Episode 19 - Tell All (29/03/2011)

­NCIS investigates the murder of Lt. Commander Patrick Casey when his body is found barraged with shard like bullets across his midsection. Near the murder sight we find “birdsong” written on a stone with his blood. Further investigation yields that our commander recently took the fall for over 500 specialized rifles that went missing while in Afghanistan. “Birdsong” turns out to be a manuscript that one of his colleagues wrote exposing the military covering up where the weapons actually went. The manuscript was recently sent to a publisher and the Defense Intelligence Agency has been racing to retrieve it. While speaking to the publisher we discover that our victim along with FBI Agent Elise Archer was sent the manuscript for review. She won’t however give us the name of the anonymous author citing the First Amendment. When we get to Archer’s house we find her dead. We ultimately track down the author, Lt. Sam Keeler, who was having an affair with the married Archer and was on the same anti-task force team as Casey. We expose an unlikely arms dealer while trying to track down our killer. In the end our killer turns out to be Archer’s husband who mistook Casey as being the person whom his wife was having and affair with. He not only killed his wife, he killed the wrong guy. ­

­Vance requests that our team take over murder investigation from Metro PD of Colonel Yale Parks when his body was found three weeks ago after suffering multiple axe wounds. Overwhelming evidence points to Park’s 18 year old drug using son, Nick, who is adamant about his innocence. Unfortunately, unless the team can secure a conviction, the son walks. Gibbs and the team use various methods of interrogation until finally Nick confesses to the murder. However, Gibbs soon suspects that Nick may not be the killer. Upon further investigation we discover that Nick’s estranged mother who after three years came back wanting to be a part of the family again. She and our victim got into a heated argument and she ended up killing him. ­

Episode 17 - One Last Score (01/03/2011)

­NCIS investigates the brutal murder of a temporary NCIS employee who was recently fired. Evidence reveals that he was selling information about the location of very valuable evidence that was being stored in a warehouse. The valuables belong to Leona Phelps, the Bernie Madoff of the Navy, currently in jail and awaiting her trial. Phelps is able to cut a deal with NCIS, and in exchange for house arrest she would give us the name of our killer. The warehouse that held all her valuables is broken into but nothing is stolen that we can account for. We eventually discover that the thieves attempted to steal her ledger which held off-shore account information on where she hid all the money she stole from her clients. However, when the thieves didn’t find it at the warehouse they track Phelps down at her house. We eventually discover that the thieves were clients of hers who entrusted her with $27million of stolen money that she in turn stole for herself.

Episode 16 - Killscreen (22/02/2011)

NCIS investigates the death of Marine Corporal Troy Amstrong when his body is found with his fingers and teeth removed. We learn that one of the women that Armstrong dated was using his credit card to purchase and download video games. We meet the beautiful Maxine Edwards who was cheated on by Armstrong and decided to get even by using his credit card. Maxine and McGee have a connection. When an attempt is made on her life, our team realizes that it had something to do with her gaming. Maxine recently was able to reach the kill screen of a popular video game and the screen revealed a set of codes that someone was clearly after. In the end we discover that our doer was closer to NCIS than we thought. Henry Martin from Viperkey Security, recently received NCIS clearance to investigate breaches that originated from the NCIS office. Martin is discovered to be the guy that killed Armstrong thinking he was the one that reached the kill screen because of the credit card charge. The kill screen revealed instructions on how to hack into the Pentagon. If the Pentagon found out how easy it was to penetrate their defense system, Martin’s million dollar account with them would be in jeopardy.

Chaos ensues when Adriana is kidnapped and our team soon discovers she was part of the her kidnapping in an attempt to prevent her father from signing a treaty. Her colleague along with her professor was also part of the plan. However, her colleague got greedy and the staged kidnapping gave him the perfect opportunity to capitalize off it.­

Episode 14 - A Man Walks Into a Bar ... (08/02/2011)

­The team at NCIS is up for its long overdue psych evaluation and Vance hesitantly lets Dr. Rachel Cranston follow our team around during a murder investigation. Our team investigates the murder of Commander Vincent Reynolds when he is found shot in the chest aboard a Navy vessel. No weapon is found, but tape residue on the victim’s fingers indicate that maybe Reynolds pulled the trigger. Reynolds, 18 months away from retirement was single and had no children, however we soon discover that was in a long term relationship with his best friend’s wife. We ultimately discover that he committed suicide because he couldn’t accept that his career was over and that he had no one to go home to. The sailors who reported to him respected him so much that they made his suicide look like a murder in order to protect his honor. They disposed of the gun. Dr. Cranston is able to tap into some really personal issues with our agents and through a series of flashbacks, from episodes past, we learn a little more about why she’s actually there. Dr. Cranston is the sister to the late Kate Todd, NCIS agent killed in the line of duty, and Gibbs secretly authorized her being there. ­

Episode 13 - Freedom (01/02/2011)

­NCIS investigates the murder of Lt. Travis Wooten when his body is found having suffered repeated blows to the head. His wife and young son are no where to be found. Len Feeney, the owner of a local bar, tells NCIS that Travis would frequent the joint with his girlfriend. They would love to make a scene with his girlfriend Jancey always yelling at him. Shocked at the revelation that Travis was still married, Jancey claims to have had nothing to do with Travis’ death. Autopsy results reveal unique markings left from the blows out victim sustained. When Travis wife, Sergeant Georgia Wooten, and her son are found safe the team can’t but help notice her cold and unemotional reaction when learning of her husband’s murder. Georgia is an exceptional marine and oversaw the martial arts training programs for Quantico. When questioned about her husband’s affair she claims that she thought he ended it. Digging further we discover that Georgia frequented the ER for what looked like injuries suffered from domestic abuse. She always reported it as work related. Killing her husband was maybe her way of freeing herself from his abuse. In the end our killer turns out to be Len Feeney, the bar owner and the murder weapon of choice was a pool cue. He had feelings for Georgia and wanted to stop Travis from hurting her. McGee is the victim of identity fraud and the theft turns out to be his landlord’s kid who knew McGee’s daily routine.

Episode 12 - Recruited (18/01/2011)

NCIS is called in to investigate the death of Navy recruit Jeffrey Craig who is found dead in a high school stairwell after a college fair. Autopsy results determine that he was killed by a blunt force trauma to the head by what looks like an injury inflicted from a boot. Recruitment files reveal that a Gordon Zanetti, a rejected applicant, seemed to take his rejection personally and left threatening messages for Craig. Zanetti happens to work at a furniture mill where boots are common around the factory. However, his alibi checks out leaving our team with no suspects. While interviewing Craig’s sister, Amy, she reveals to us to that her brother was gay and recently started dating at teacher at the high school. Glenn Block confesses that he and Craig recently started dating but wanted to keep it under wraps because he was actually married and his wife recently found out. Block’s wife, angry and with motive, also has an alibi. Ziva and Tony run into Terry Simmons, a student that Craig was recently recruiting. Terry’s father also happens to be there and is adamantly outspoken against his son enlisting. While searching for encrypted emails on Craig’s computer our team discovers that Terry was gay and was seeking Craig’s advice. In the end our killer is revealed to be Terry’s father who was paranoid about what Craig and his son were secretly communicating about. Ziva reveals the name of her “friend” in Miami that she’s been spending time with. Ducky’s esteemed predecessor, Doctor Walter Magnus, pays Ducky a surprise visit. However, things for Dr. Magnus aren’t what they seem. Vance, still recovering from his injuries, seems distracted and a little overwhelmed at being back at work.

Episode 11 - Ships in the Night (11/01/2011)

Our team investigates the murder First Lt. Patrick Nolan when he is shot and killed while on a dinner boat with his sister and uncle. Having just returned from Afghanistan we learn that Patrick was the son of the late Richard Nolan, millionaire business magnet. Richard cut Patrick out of his will because Patrick decided to serve his country rather than run the family business. Autopsy results reveal that the shooter was at least 15 feet away from Patrick, who was on the deck, when he was shot. Abby concludes that 15 feet away either meant that the shooter was in the water or on another boat. All the other guest on the boat are eliminated as suspects. Patrick was an exemplary Marine but he was recently charged with assaulting a Gavin Lodge upon his return to the states. Tabloids reveal that Patrick’s sister, socialite Kimberly, recently dated Gavin Lodge and photos were leaked indicating that Gavin slapped Kimberly around. Playboy Gavin claims to have nothing to do with Patrick’s death. Things get even more complicated when Abby finds someone else’s blood on Patrick’s body. Someone else was there with Patrick and was possibly shot as well. We also conclude that the second boat used to carry our shooter was owned by the Gavin Lodge’s family. When a body is found in the Patomac we discover that it’s our shooter who happened to be a shooter for hire. Who hired the assassin to kills Nolan? In the end the mastermind turned out to be Kimberly Nolan and the company’s CFO. Right before Richard Nolan died he revised his will leaving everything to Patrick. Kimberly and the CFO found out that dad revised his will and set out to have Patrick killed. However, they neglected to realize that in Patrick’s will he decided to use the family wealth to start a charitable organization. Kimberly was there when Patrick was shot and was grazed in the arm.

NCIS S08E10

Episode 10 - False Witness (14/12/2010)

­When Jerry Neisler, the lead witness in a death penalty murder trial goes missing, DA Gail Walsh enlists the help of NCIS to find him before the judge grants a mistrial. The accused is Franklin Hayes, once a private investigator who lost everything, mugged a brother and sister in an alley and ended up killing the sister. They interview Matthew Gray, brother of the victim, who implores our team to find Jerry. NCIS tracks down Jerry who went into hiding after receiving a threatening DVD. Gibbs suspects that Walsh is hiding something and decides not to tell her that they’ve located her star witness. Visitor logs to our suspect indicate that Hayes been meeting with a Smitty Brown, who we learn wants to keep Hayes in prison. He was going to use Hayes in prison to help run his black market drug and weapons dealing. Smitty wanted to stop whomever was harassing Jerry and ran into Joe Casey, they guy who made the threatening video to Jerry. Smitty claims self-defense when Casey shows up dead. Jerry, while still in protective custody at NCIS, is driving everyone crazy with his ability to accurately breakdown everyone’s personal life. We eventually learn that Walsh was hiding the fact that Smitty was her informant and they shared an intimate relationship. It turns out the person behind harassing Jerry was none other than Matthew Gray. He wanted the judge to grant a mistrial so that Hayes would be set free. This way Matthew could avenge his sister’s death by killing Hayes himself. Tony is not acting like his normal self which concerns Ziva and McGee.

Episode 09 - Enemies Domestic (23/11/2010)

­We pick up from where we left off in episode #171 (“Enemies Foreign”) where the team discovers Mossad Officer Amit Hadar dead in the safe house, Vance seriously wounded and Mossad Director, Eli David, no where to be found. Our team searches for Eli David all while trying to figure out who had access to the safe house and wired it with claymores that went off when the door was opened. We eventually find an injured Eli David who fills us in, via flashbacks, on how he and Vance came to know each other. In 1991 Vance was sent on a mission to Amsterdam to track down a Russian operative. Little did he know he was being sent to Amsterdam to die and it was Eli David who warned Vance that the Russians were looking to kill him. Tony suspects someone within NCIS may have been our leak regarding the safe house. We eventually discover that Agent McCallister, a retired NCIS agent, orchestrated the fake mission in Amsterdam where Vance was to hunt down a Russian. The Russian was actually paid by McCallister to kill Vance which would then increase the attention back to McCallister’s level of expertise. However, McCallister’s plan backfired when Vance, with help from Eli, eluded the Russian. Vance got all the recognition which put him on the fast track to becoming the Director. McCallister wanted revenge and orchestrated the safe house explosion hoping to blame it on Eli David. McCallister’s last attempt at killing Vance at his hospital bedside is ultimately thwarted.­

Episode 08 - Enemies Foreign (16/11/2010)

­NCIS questions a woman who was electronically stealing credit card information by scanning an electronic scanner over people’s purse or wallets. One of the stolen numbers was flagged as being on the terrorist watch list. It turns out that it belongs to Mossad officer and employee of Eli David, Malachi Ben-Gion and his partner/Ziva’s replacement, Liat Tuvia. Vance, being somewhat elusive about a conference he has to attend, instructs Gibbs to take the lead on investigating the death of three smugglers found off the coast of Florida. The three smugglers turn out to be linked to the reason our Mossad officers are in town. Apparently three Palestinian terrorist paid the smugglers to transport them from Cuba into the states and then killed them to avoid a trace. Gibbs discovers that the terrorist are in town to assassinate Mossad Director Eli David who is attending Vance’s conference. NCIS must provide protection detail and Eli David and Gibbs is forced to contain his disdain for Eli who sent his daughter Ziva to die in the desert. Ziva, Tony, Malachi and Liat are instructed to secure the hotel where Vance’s conference is taking place. Liat questions Ziva commitment to providing protection detail for Eli David knowing how strained this father-daughter relationship has become. Things get even more chaotic when we discover that an Army transport truck carrying large amounts of weapons was just hijacked. Al- Masri, the head of the Palestinian terror group, is closing in and now it’s just a matter of when and where they will attempt to kill Eli David. Our team is able to apprehend two of the three terrorist but is unable to find Al-Masri. On the way to the conference gun fire erupts and Ziva instructs Eli and his diver, Amir Hadar, back to the safe house. We end the episode with Gibbs’s trying to contact the safe house and we see Hadar lying there dead and Eli no where in sight.

Episode 07 - Broken Arrow (09/11/2010)

­When Woodrow Iverson, employee to the Royce Global Group, is found dead right before an important and secretive meeting with his old friend Admiral Chase, our team is called in to investigate. Iverson recently flew on a private jet from Geneva and Tony Sr. happened to be on the plane. Tony Sr. a friend of business titan Jonathan Royce was passing through Geneva and caught a ride back to the states. Apparently Royce, now a recluse, hasn’t been seen in public for the past four years. The Royce Global group had operations in underwater mining, and when our team discovers a metal plate with etched numbers that Iverson left in the cab before he was killed, our team realizes that is about a lost nuclear weapon. Iverson was coming to tell Chase about the found nuclear bomb that his company stumbled across but was killed before he had a chance. While on the flight from Geneva, Tony Sr. is invited to the opening night reception to the Royce summit by Dan Mayfeild, Royce’s right hand man. Against Tony’s wishes Gibb’s makes Tony Sr. stay in town and puts him up in a fancy hotel. Gibbs makes Ziva go undercover with Tony Sr. to the opening night reception in an attempt to hopefully identify any potential arms dealers who may be in market for nuclear material. Our team also finds out that Jonathan Royce is actually on life support and Mayfield banned all access to Royce even from his own daughter. Mayfield was keeping Royce alive knowing that if he died everything would go to Royce’s daughter, and a huge nuclear sale to an arms dealer would provide him his golden parachute. Ziva’s cover is blown at the reception and they attempt to make a quick getaway only to be stopped by my Mayfield and his security guard, Theo Gaston. However, they prove to be no match for Ziva and Tony Sr. and the two are soon apprehended and taken into custody. Tony confronts his father about knowing that he’s broke and they vow to start being honest with each other… right before Tony Sr. is about to get on to Donald Trumps private jet back to NY. ­

Episode 06 - Cracked (26/10/2010)

­When Navy Lieutenant, Clea Thorson, is found dead after running onto the street and into an oncoming bus, Ducky discovers chemical symbols and codes written in thick black ink all over her body. The autopsy reveals that Clea was actually being slowly poisoned and which caused her to become increasingly paranoid and sick. Clea, a brilliant engineer, was recently fired from a bio-tech company working on a very lucrative project to help the Navy become more fuel independent. Her former boss Dean Stillwell said that Clea was a genius at what she did but became increasingly impossible to deal with. Clea’s mother explains that her daughter was on medication all her life to control her mood swings and manic behavior but recently felt that Clea was in danger. Clea recently started sending her mom large amount of money incase anything happened to her. Abby soon becomes intrigued and almost obsessed with trying to decipher what these codes from Clea’s body. She retraces Clea’s route on the metro and finds herself at Clea’s university where she meets up with a professor that Clea trusted. Clea’s old co-worker, April Ferry, secretly comes into NCIS to drop off some files hoping it may reveal more information into her death. We discover that after Clea was fired she went to work for Stillwell’s biggest competitor and was paid under the table. Things get complicated when her old boss and lead suspect Dean Stillwell is found dead..Clea’s killer turns out to be her old co-worker April who was jealous of all of Clea’s accomplishments. April poisoned Clea with a type of ethanol that she attempted but failed to patent because the fuel left a deadly by produce of formaldehyde. April attached a canister of the poison to Clea’s main water line slowly poisoning her every time she showered. ­

NCIS S08E05

Episode 05 - Dead Air (19/10/2010)

­NCIS is called to the scene of a triple murder after a gun man entered a radio station and shots and killed the producer, radio host and guest speaker who happened to be a Navy Commander. We realize the intended target was the politically outspoken radio host, Adam Gayter. A notable piece of fan-mail that Gayter recently received depicting a cartoon stating “Join or Die” is linked back to mail carrier Matt Lane. Lane claims that he tried to get Gayter to make a celebrity appearance at a local charity event but declined and the cartoon was a joke. Recorded cell phone calls reveal that Gayter recently received a call from a local number traced back to a very exclusive gated community called Royal Woods. The recorded voice on the other end was asking Gayter if he gave it more thought about joining M.A.H (we later discover to mean ‘Military at Home”), an organization that believed our government dollars are better spent protecting our boarders first before going to fight wars in foreign countries. We soon realize that the voice behind the call is Arthur Haskell, banker and resident of Royal Woods, who recently lost his wife to a home invasion robbery. We learn that Haskell, along with other members of this gated community, was looking to recruit Gayter to help lead their cause. McGee hacks into Haskell’s personal information and discovers that Haskell was meeting with Deeter Johanson, known and wanted explosive dealer. Haskell purchased a bomb from Deeter and was meeting him to negotiate the cost of a detonator. Ziva goes undercover to intercept the meeting letting Haskell know that Deeter is no longer available and he must deal with her regarding all transactions. We discover that Haskell neighbor, Zach Nelson, recently went on a hunting Haskell. Nelson was the shooter. Nelson wanted to silence Gayter who was about to reveal to the audience Haskell’s plan to use a bomb to blow up a building on base. In tracking Haskell down we find him badly beaten at his house and the bomb missing from his shed. It turns out that our mailman Matt Lane, who was to plant the bomb on base, found out that Haskell used stolen Al Qaeda money and didn’t like the idea that this ‘patriotic’ organization was being funded by our enemies. Lane took the bomb and our team must race against the clock to track it down before he sets it off. ­
