Episode 12 - Papa, Oh Papa (25/01/2011)

Marti faces a tense bus ride to sectionals after admitting to the Hellcats that she hooked up with Dan. Alice receives a surprise visit from her father, who shows up to watcher her perform at sectionals. Alice tells Lewis that she never told her father that they broke up or that she was replaced as a flier. To keep her father from learning the truth, Alice blackmails Savannah into giving up her spot as a flier by threatening to tell the Hellcats that Savannah helped Memphis Christian earn free ride to sectionals.

Hellcats is an American cheerleading comedy-drama television series that airs on The CW in the United States. Based on the book Cheer: Inside the Secret World of College Cheerleaders by journalist Kate Torgovnick, the series focuses in the lives of college cheerleaders, mainly Marti Perkins (Aly Michalka), a pre-law college student who has to join the cheerleading team, the Hellcats, in order to get the athletic scholarship she needs. The main cast also includes Ashley Tisdale, Robbie Jones, Heather Hemmens, Matt Barr, Gail O'Grady and Sharon Leal.

In May 2010, Hellcats had been picked by The CW for the fall 2010–11 season. Initially with a 13-episode order, The CW aired the series after America's Next Top Model on Wednesday nights. The pilot episode aired on September 8, 2010, and became the first premiere to ever match or build on an America's Next Top Model lead-in since The CW began in 2006. The CW later gave a full season order for the series, with executives saying they were "thrilled that [it] paid off for us".

Hellcats follows Marti Perkins, a pre-law college student at Lancer University, who lost her scholarship and has no other choice but to join the college's cheer squad, the Hellcats, in order to obtain a new one. There she meets her new roommate and team captain Savannah Monroe, the injured flyer Alice Verdura, her new partner Lewis Flynn and the Hellcats coach Vanessa Lodge who hopes to win nationals, otherwise the cheer leading program will be cut. All the while, Marti also has to deal with her financially unstable and sometimes irresponsible mother, Wanda Perkins, whom she often has to bail out of difficult situations, and her best friend Dan Patch. Dan and Savannah begin dating and subsequently split after Marti revealed that she and Dan hooked up, but Savannah and Dan reconcile at Dan's brother's wedding.

Unknown teenagers have been cast in the lead roles and real teens will help write the storylines, similar to how Elsley wrote the UK series, now in its 5th season. The network will work collaboratively with the series producers to preserve the authenticity of the British version. The series, which aired on E4 in the UK, quickly became a commercial and critical success, winning the 2009 BAFTA Audience Award, which was voted on by the public, and Best Drama Series at the 2008 Broadcast Awards.

The Cape tips off Scales that Fleming has betrayed him in business dealings, leading to a confrontation at a costume party aboard a train, the same train that The Cape and Orwell discover Max and the Carnival plan to rob. Meanwhile, Dana tries to get home in time for Trip's 10th birthday.

The Cape follows a former cop, Vince Faraday (David Lyons), who resigns from the force to take on the criminal mastermind, Chess (Peter Frain). Vince unwittingly signs up for a security force run by Chess' alter-ego Peter Fleming. So he can "disappear" as a supervillain, Fleming frames Vince to make the police believe that he is Chess. Seemingly killed, Vince is taken in by the Circus of Crime, run by owner Max Malini (Keith David). Still believing that Vince is Chess, Max trains him in martial arts and how to use a black cloth as a weapon. Vince vows to fight crime and seek revenge against Chess. Since he can't return to his wife Dana (Jennifer Ferrin) and son Trip (Ryan Wynott), without putting them at risk, Vince takes on the identity of his son's favorite comic book hero, The Cape. Aiding him in his struggle is a mysterious blogger, Orwell (Summer Glau).

It premiered on NBC during the 2010–2011 television season as a midseason replacement beginning with a 2-hour pilot episode. An encore played on Monday, January 10, with follow-up episodes continuing on Monday evenings in the 9 pm timeslot beginning on January 17. NBC subsequently cut the total number of episodes to be aired from 13 to 10 as a result of low ratings.

Episode 02 - There Goes the Neighborhood, Part 2 (24/01/2011)

Shown in a series of flashbacks, we learn more about the hardships of each of the roommates and how whey came to end up where they are.

Sally had to watch her own repast in silence while everyone looked right through her. Aidan was turned by Bishop during the Civil War and first woke up as a vampire in a pile of dead bodies. Josh was attacked by what he thought was a wolf until the next full moon caught him by surprise and he endured his first, painful transformation.

Picking up from the cliffhanger of the last episode, even though Aidan has given in to Bishop’s temptations and is indulging in fresh blood given willingly at a secret vampire club, the voicemail indicator on his cell phone jars him from his reverie. After hearing Josh’s frantic message, Aidan is able (just barely) to save Emily by using his vampire speed to get to the hospital and let her out before Josh completes his transformation.

Forced into an uncomfortable position, Aidan refuses to explain Josh’s disorder to her, even though she tries to pry it out of him. He leaves it up to Josh to tell her, if he wants. Emily wants Josh to come back home so the family can help him but he refuses, feeling like the horror of his life is too much of a strain for his family.

Back at the house, Sally has become obsessed with seeing her ex-fiancé Danny so Aidan calls Danny over to repair the plumbing (which won’t work as long as Sally is upset). While Danny is there, Aidan and Josh ask him questions that they think Sally would want to know, including how she died—something Sally can’t seem to remember.

At the hospital, Cara, the new nurse, continues to take an interest in Aidan—ironic, since she has unwittingly taken the place of Rebecca, the nurse Aidan killed. When Josh sees a woman who looks like Rebecca, he gives chase and finds out that Rebecca is alive—as a vampire. Naturally, Josh is furious with Aidan but when he confronts him, Aidan is just as surprised. It was Bishop who turned Rebecca, straining his already fragile relationship with Aidan.

Aidan tries to help Rebecca get clean but she seems to love the thrill and power of being a vampire. Disgusted with Rebecca, Bishop and, most of all, himself, Aidan has a drink with Cara but he immediately regrets it and asks Josh to come to the bar and chaperone. Before Josh can get there, Rebecca interrupts Aidan and Cara’s date and, when Aidan doesn’t respond the way she wants, she attacks Cara, leaving her dying in an alley.

The only way Aidan can save her is to turn her into a vampire but he can’t bring himself to do it. Cara dies in Josh’s arms. Once again, it’s up to Bishop to clean up Aidan ’s mess in order to protect the vampire clan’s secrets.

"Being Human" is a re-imagining of the acclaimed BBC original. Three 20-something roommates, a ghost, a vampire, and a werewolf, struggle to keep their dark secrets from the world, while helping each other navigate the complexities of living double lives.

Hawaii Five-0 S01E15

Episode 15 - Kai e'e/Tidal Wave (23/01/2011)..

­After an early morning Tsunami alert, McGarrett and Danny get called to the Tsunami Warning Center because its Director has gone missing. The timing of the disappearance couldn’t be worse as there’s a lot of conflicting data about the Tsunami that the Deputy Director doesn’t know how to interpret and Captain Mike Hale from the Coast Guard needs a threat level from the Deputy Director to activate his services as to the best plan of action. Chin Ho and Kono search the Director’s house and determine that he’s been abducted but is probably still alive. They also realize the Director was trying to send a message, but they can’t decode what it means. As the rest of the Police Dept. helps the islanders seek higher ground and move inland for safety, McGarrett and the team (with a little help from McGarrett’s girlfriend in Naval Intelligence) track down and rescue the Director. They also figure out the tsunami was a ruse perpetrated by Captain Hale in order for him to steal money from the HPD evidence locker. When the Five-0 team realizes that catching Captain Hale means HPD will figure there’s $10 million missing (Five-0 took it and it to rescue Chin Ho, but Victor Hesse burned it) and they’ll be caught, they decide to do the right thing and get Hale. In the end, McGarrett gets called to the Governor’s office; the team joins him as they’re all in it together. McGarrett gets out of the meeting saying the Governor congratulated them on a job well done, and mysteriously, the money is all accounted for.

HAWAII FIVE-0 is a contemporary take on the classic series about a new elite federalized task force whose mission is to wipe out the crime that washes up on the Islands' sun-drenched beaches. Detective Steve McGarrett (Alex O'Loughlin), a decorated Naval officer turned cop, returns to Oahu to investigate his father's murder and stays after Hawaii's governor persuades him to head up the new team: his rules, her backing, no red tape and full blanket immunity to hunt down the biggest "game" in town. Joining McGarrett is Detective Danny "Danno" Williams (Scott Caan), a newly relocated ex-New Jersey cop who prefers skyscrapers to the coastline but is committed to keeping the Islands safe for his 8-year-old daughter; and Chin Ho Kelly (Daniel Dae Kim), an ex-Honolulu Police Detective wrongly accused of corruption and relegated to a federal security patrol, who is also a former protégé of McGarrett's father. Chin's cousin, Kono (Grace Park), is a beautiful and fearless native, fresh out of the academy and eager to establish herself among the department's elite. McGarrett vows to bring closure to his father's case while the state's brash new FIVE-0 unit, who may spar and jest among themselves, is determined to eliminate the seedy elements from the 50th state.
