Weeds is an American black comedy-drama television series created by Jenji Kohan and produced by Lionsgate Television, which began airing on the Showtime cable television network in 2005. The show revolves around Nancy Botwin (Mary-Louise Parker), a widowed Southern Californian mother of two boys—Silas (Hunter Parrish) and the younger, Shane (Alexander Gould)—who turns to selling marijuana to support her family after her husband unexpectedly dies. Over the course of the show, Nancy becomes involved in illegal activities on an escalating scale. The title is a double entendre: it plays on the word "weed", a slang for cannabis, but also refers to "widow's weeds", the black garment worn by mourning widows.

On November 5, 2007, Showtime ordered 13 new episodes for a fourth season of Weeds. The fourth season started on Monday, June 16, 2008 and concluded on Monday, September 15, 2008. The season opener "Mother Thinks the Birds are After Her" was the last episode with "Little Boxes" as the theme song. The opening credits of subsequent episodes, after a recap of previous episodes, begin with a video title card unique to each episode. For the second episode of the season, for example, a highway sign reads "Weeds", "Created By", and "Jenji Kohan"—the embedded text used for all title cards since the show's inception. Each title card also has a prop or part of the setting morph into a marijuana leaf. In the highway sign example, a downward arrow designating a lane becomes a slightly larger pot leaf. In season 4, Silas was 17 and Shane was 13.

Having lost both her Agrestic grow house and her residential house in fires, Nancy relocates her family to the fictional California town of Ren Mar immediately north of the San Diego/Tijuana border. They move in with Andy and Judah's father in Ren Mar, while Guillermo has Nancy smuggle asthma inhalers over the border by car, but Nancy discovers that it was a dry run to test her abilities. Celia, in jail for being the official lessee of Nancy's burnt-down grow house, and implicated by all involved, bargains for her release in exchange for spying on Nancy. After Guillermo's men catch Celia spying, Nancy convinces them to spare Celia's life. Andy enters a coyote partnership with Doug, who has recently moved to Ren-Mar to evade questions about Agrestic's finances. Isabelle, unenthusiastic about moving with her father to Detroit, pesters her mother Celia until she agrees to let her live with her in Ren Mar. Silas sets up a grow room in the rear of a gourmet cheese shop owned by his new ten-year-old neighbor's mom. She is an attractive woman, who is in her thirties, and despite being aware that Silas is underage, consummates their business and sexual relationships. After revealing that her interest is purely financial and physical, a heartbroken Silas spurns her advances and ends their business relationship. Meanwhile, at his new school, 13-year-old Shane attacks without provocation the most popular boy at school and acquires a fearsome reputation, attracting the admiring attention of Simone and Harmony, two of the more dangerous girls at school, to whom Shane loses his virginity in a threesome.

Guillermo's as-yet-unidentified boss sets up Nancy in a maternity store in a San Ysidro mall, through which she thinks she can launder money. But in the back of the store Nancy finds an underground tunnel opening, and is told it is exclusively an endpoint for transporting marijuana from Tijuana. But Nancy later learns that it is used for smuggling other controlled substances as well as guns and apparently trafficking in women for what looks to be unwilling prostitution. A shocked Nancy informs DEA Captain Roy Till of the tunnel despite an ongoing sexual relationship with Guillermo's crime boss Esteban Reyes (Demián Bichir), who is also Mayor of Tijuana. The resulting DEA raid and shootout at the maternity shop ends with most of the Mexican drug runners arrested.

While working at Nancy's store, Celia's polysubstance abuse disorder is worsened by the easy availability of drugs from the back of the store. Isabelle and Dean stage an intervention leading Celia to embrace rehab and vowing to make amends to her family. Dean rejects her apology and insists that she apologizes directly to her oldest daughter, Quinn, whom Celia sent during the show's first episode to Casa Reforma, a Mexican boarding school. Since graduation, Quinn has been living with a Mexican revolutionary, Rudolfo. Celia agrees to travel south to make amends, but upon her arrival, an unforgiving and violent Quinn has her drugged and captured. Quinn plans to ransom her mother for $200,000, telling Rudolfo she would give none of the money to his "faggy revolution", but would instead move to Belize.

In the season finale, Esteban discovers that it was Nancy who had alerted the DEA to his smuggling tunnel, and he captures her—probably to be followed by killing her as a lesson to others. But he lets her live after she tells him that she is pregnant with his child, and that it's likely to be a boy (he has only daughters.) At home, Shane steals Silas' weed and, with Simone and Harmony, begins selling it to classmates at school. Doug had fallen for an illegal alien he names "Mermex" as she unsuccessfully tried to enter the United States by beach. After much searching, Doug locates her and uses his coyote enterprise to get her into California. Instead of gratefully rewarding Doug's efforts, Mermex is repelled by his unapologetic nature and his genital warts. She instead falls in love and sleeps with his Coyote partner Andy, who has become a folk hero known as "El Andy". Scorned and hurt, Doug turns Mermex into immigration. Realizing that poverty denies those pursuing anything of any money, Doug writes his estranged wife, daring her to take him to court in a pseudo-suicidal note, and then prepares to hang himself. Andy wonders if he is in love with Nancy and questions why he has stayed with the family for so long.

Meanwhile an unbalanced woman wearing a tinfoil outfit at the front desk tries to warn people (including Nick) of an alien invasion. After observing the burning man, she later turns up dead with green-tinted blood. When other people turn up with the same problem, it's up to the team to figure out why. Meanwhile, an old couple dies, apparently in their sleep... but there is evidence the cases are related.

Survivor : Micronesia Season 16 [END]

Survivor: Micronesia — Fans vs. Favorites is the sixteenth season of the American CBS competitive reality television series Survivor, being the show's third to include contestants from past seasons, after the all-returning contestant pool from Survivor: All-Stars, and Survivor: Guatemala in which two contestants from Survivor: Palau returned for a second chance. Host Jeff Probst has declared this as his second favorite season of all time.

Applications were due on July 7, 2007. Around August 2007, 800 applicants were selected for an interview by CBS. Out of these 800, about 48 semi-finalists were selected to go to Los Angeles in September 2007. From these semi-finalists, 10 contestants were selected to participate in the show between late October and mid-December 2007.[2] The full cast of 20 contestants was revealed on January 3, 2008 by Entertainment Weekly. Host Jeff Probst revealed that a list of 20 favorites was put together (enough for an entire game) and then 10 of them were cut. Others included for consideration were Shane Powers (of Survivor: Panama), Yul Kwon (of Survivor: Cook Islands), Terry Deitz (of Survivor: Panama), Tom Westman (of Survivor: Palau), and Courtney Yates (of Survivor: China), though Probst confirmed that Westman and Yates declined the opportunity. Pearl Islands winner Sandra Diaz-Twine, who initially declined to be on Survivor: All-Stars, participated in initial casting for Micronesia but was one of those cut at the last minute. The contestants were split into two tribes, fans and favorites, named Airai and Malakal respectively. Both tribes were named after locations in Palau.

The season was filmed in Palau, marking the second time Survivor has filmed there (the first being 2005). The filming locations for this season were the same as those used in Survivor: Palau (Airai lived in the former Koror camp and Malakal lived in the former Ulong camp). Exile Island returned this season after being absent from Survivor: China, with a new twist of one castaway from each tribe being sent to Exile Island where they had to compete to find the hidden immunity idol.

For the first time since Survivor: Panama, the final Tribal Council featured a Final Two rather than a Final Three. This was also the first and currently only season to have an even numbered jury, with this season having eight jury members, rather than the traditional seven or nine in past seasons. In the end, Parvati Shallow defeated Amanda Kimmel by a vote of 5–3 to become the Sole Survivor. On the reunion show, it was revealed that James Clement, for the second consecutive season, was the viewer's choice of favorite contestant, winning US$100,000. Amanda Kimmel and Oscar "Ozzy" Lusth received the next highest number of votes.

Parvati Shallow, Amanda Kimmel, Cirie Fields, and James Clement would return to Survivor for a third time in the show's 20th season, Survivor: Heroes vs. Villains. Kimmel, Fields, and Clement were placed on the Heroes tribe, while Shallow was placed on the Villains' tribe. Fields placed 17th, Clement placed 14th, Kimmel placed 9th, and Shallow finished second to the winner Sandra Diaz-Twine. Also Tom Westman and Courtney Yates, who both declined to play in Fans vs Favorites, participated in Heroes vs Villains. Westman placed 15th place and Yates placed 11th place.

Probst stated that the Tribal Council in which Erik was eliminated was his favorite of all the seasons. He also said Palau was his favorite filming location.

Survivor is an American version of the Survivor reality television game show, itself derived from the Swedish television series Expedition Robinson originally created in 1997 by Charlie Parsons. It is hosted by veteran television personality, reporter and one-time game show emcee Jeff Probst, who is also an executive producer, and also executive produced by Mark Burnett and original creator Charlie Parsons.

The show maroons a group of strangers (as one or more tribes) in a desolate locale, where they must provide food, water, fire, and shelter for themselves, while competing in challenges to earn either a reward, or an immunity from expulsion from the game in the next of the successive votes for elimination. While much rarer than elimination by vote, medical conditions, such as injury or infection, have eliminated several contestants. The last two or three survivors face a jury composed of the last seven, eight, or nine players voted off. That jury interrogates the final few, and then votes for the winner of the game, the title of Sole Survivor and a million dollar prize.

Prison Break Season 3 [END]

Prison Break is an American television serial drama created by Paul Scheuring, that was broadcast on the Fox Broadcasting Company from 2005 until 2009. The series revolves around two brothers; one has been sentenced to death for a crime he did not commit, and the other devises an elaborate plan to help his brother escape prison.
The third season follows both Michael inside Sona and Lincoln on the outside in Panama. Sona is a prison that has been run by the inmates and guarded only from the outside since a riot the year before. Burrows is quickly contacted by Gretchen Morgan (a Company operative who was in charge of operations in Panama) who kidnapped his son LJ (Marshall Allman) and Sara Tancredi (Sarah Wayne Callies), the woman Michael loves. He is told that The Company wants Scofield to break James Whistler (Chris Vance) out of Sona. The season follows Michael and Whistler's trials in formulating an escape plan, as Michael has to deal with extreme tension and as Lincoln deals with the Company's operative Gretchen Morgan (Jodi Lyn O'Keefe). Sucre gets a job at the prison to aid Michael in his escape plan. When Lincoln attempts to rescue Sara and LJ following a clue provided by Sara, Gretchen claims to have beheaded Sara and sends Lincoln a head in a box as a warning. As the season ends, the pair manage to escape along with Mahone, and another inmate McGrady leaving behind several accomplices including T-Bag and Bellick. Sucre's identity is discovered by a prison guard and he is thrown into Sona just after the escape. LJ and Sofia (who was captured for a guarantee that Whistler would go with her) are traded for Whistler, and Michael seeks revenge against Gretchen for Sara's death.

Episode 05 - Interference
Synopsis : A test with a rat proves the tower snipers are very good, so Michael figures breaking out with Whistler within 24 hours has to be at 3 PM, during a distracting soccer game. Sucre accepts $5,000 from a limousine man to smuggle a package into Sona. Linc is to arrange transport outside, but gets turned away roughly by an army patrol at two miles with Marisol in her car, then tells her Sara has already been killed, he keeps it from Michael as L.J. is his ultimate priority. New prisoner Andrew Tyge is robbed to his boxers at arrival, and warned off by Alexander Mahone after snooping around Michael and Whistler, who plan an electric signal disturbance device to distract the guard tower. Before they can make a move, a reflection from Michael's televisor is spotted: the troops move in and find it in his cell, he admits it's his; when the commander is about to shoot him, Whistler says it's his for birdwatching, and proves it showing the ornithology book Linc couldn't hold on to. Episode 06 - Photo Finish
Synopsis : Tyge tells Michael he and 'Mcfadden' where co-employees in a Nice hotel, Mahone worries he keeps observing Whistler. Having to re-plan hastily, Michael tells Linc to drug the second guard's coffee wherever he goes for lunch, and demands pictures of L.J. and Sara before he escapes. Malone refuses a term reduction to 8 years for testimony against the government and Burrow's conspiracy: now he faces life. Tyge is stabbed dead, Lechero questions Menudo 'McGrady' and has Whistler dragged away for confession. Michael believes Mahone and Bellick's denials; T-bag offers Michael to use a ring he stole from Sammy, his rival for Lechero's confidence, to frame him for Tyge's stabbing, but Michael finds the murder knife under Malone's bed and goes denounce Alex to Lechero, only he just walks out after accepting a 4 years deal with US Justice, Lechero administers justice his way... Episode 07 - Vamonos
Synopsis : Alexander Mahone is assured all he has to do is tell the truth, enjoying full immunity. Michael tells Whistler their row is part of a diversion, the escape is now or never, before the guard's coffee drug wears off. Just when the critical sun reflexion blinds the other tower guard, they must wait and hide till Sammy has passed, but get trough the cut bars. Lechero sees them climb down and back in -time ran out- but refuses to allow them to cancel their duel to the death in the courtyard, meant as a diversion fake announcement. Sofia draws a gun at Linc to prevent him turning over James Whistler to killers, he retorts that's condemning innocent L.J. to death. Guards wake the passed-out guard, see the climbing rope and move in, the colonel shoots a random prisoner 'for not telling' and exposes his deal with Lechero, questioning if he's the right man for the job. Hearing the Sona siren, Linc flees by car and lies he has the 'escapees' in the trunk when called by Susan, but an inside contact phones her: the roll-count was complete. Sucre stops her van by crashing into it, but even when Linc holds her at gun-point her accomplice won't trade L.J., he releases her and gets a short extension to find out what happened. Failing a hearing, Malone now believes Justice official Richard Sullins is setting him up to confess. Michael is dragged before Lechero, but not to be punished, he's ordered to take the fallen boss along when he and Whistler escape! Susan asks instructions from Whistler, he tells her -as Gretchen- to give the brothers four more days.

Episode 08 - Bang and Burn
Synopsis : Lincoln tells Michael that they have four more days to rescue Whistler, but Michael is upset with his brother that used him. Gretchen has a meeting with General and they decide to use power to release Whistler in an operation called "Bang and Burn"; later she asks Whistler to kill Michael. In Sona, the guards reinforce the bars in the windows, and Michael tells Lechero that this way it will be difficult to break-out. Sammy requests more men to Lechero to keep Sona under control. Sofia receives a call from Whistler's mysterious landlord telling that he has some "insurance papers" from her boyfriend; however, the Company intercepts the conversation. When Sofia receives the documents, she finds a passport of Whistler in the name of Gary Miller. But Gretchen arrives and takes the documents. Mahone tells Agent Lang how he killed Shales and then he addicted in pills, and asks her to get some drugs for him otherwise he will not be able to speak in the hearing. T-Bag gives a message from Lechero with the blueprint of his cell with a hidden door and an access code. Whistler is ready to stab Michael when Lechero arrives and he hides the knife. Michael asks McGrady to request his father to call Lincoln and tell him: "-Don't come home for dinner." Mahone fails in the hearing and is sent back to Sona. Lincoln, Sucre and Sofia are attacked by the Company's agents and the brothers realize that something is happening, i.e., the Company does not need them anymore. When the "Bang and Burn" Operation begins, Michael catches Whistler and Gretchen fails in her intent. The command of Sona captures Michael for the attempt of breaking-out.

Episode 09 - Boxed In
Synopsis : After the helicopter failed to break out Whistler, Sona's new commander, Panamanian general Zavala, decides to make Michael talk by putting him into the sun-exposed isolation hot-box, promises to help in exchange for the truth, verifies the L.J-situation and is told it's about Whistler, who already realized the tunnel is a no-go without engineer Schofield but denies blatantly to Zavala- and is threatened with torture until he admits to collaborating with Michael, who convinces him next to give up Gretchen Morgen's name. Linc was meanwhile shown L.J., alive, as motivation. Malone is back in Sona, desperate without his drug. T-bag and his allies are mainly concerned with Lechero's expected succession and another bare-knuckle fight, won by Brad Bellick. Gretchen recruits Sucre as a double spy (or triple for Linc); then Zavala arrests and tortures her. Only Whistler's admission makes her admit L.J.'s kidnapping and leads them there, but manages to kill the general and escape. Michael and Whistler are returned to general population, Malone and Bagwel join the tunnel escape party. Sucré's mystery smuggle-employer now calls on Sammy to open the package- a gun.

Episode 10 - Dirt Nap
Synopsis : Papa is dead and Sammy presses Lechero to kill Michael; Lechero replies that he also wants Michael dead, but he does not want an uprising in Sona. Mahone receives a mail with a picture of his son. Lechero, Michael, Mahone, Whistler and T-Bag inspect the hole in the tunnel and Michael requests a saw and hammer to support the tunnel. Sammy takes the power of Sona with the pistol delivered by Augusto and other three gangsters and promises a box of bottles of rum for the inmate that kills Michael. T-Bag convinces Bellick to give the chicken foot to Sammy promising him to join the escape team; when he discovers that there is no acetone, he unsuccessfully tries to call-off the fight. Meanwhile Lincoln and Sofia visits Osberto and buys a bomb; Sucre plants the bomb under the seat of Gretchen's car but she unravels that she found Maricruz tracking the US$ 25,000.00 check she gave to him. Sammy leaves the fighting with Bellick to chase Michael, who is locked behind the door in the tunnel with Mahone. Sammy beats Whistler, who was left behind, trying to get the combination of the door. Michael removes a wedge from the hole and the tunnel collapses over Sammy, burying him, while Lechero and Mahone kill the three other gangsters. Sofia finds a wallet hidden in Whistler's bag.

Episode 11 - Under & Out
Synopsis : Michael concludes that they are behind schedule and they have twenty-four hours to dig a tunnel. However, when it begins to rain, he tells them that they must change the plans and break-out during the night since the tunnel will collapse. McGrady asks Michael to go with him, but he is in doubt whether he should escape with criminals like Lechero, T-Bag, Bellick and the mysterious Whistler. Michael believes he is paying for his sins in Sona. Later he confesses that he is tired of causes and consequences and invites McGrady to join the break-out team. Gretchen delivers the bomb planted in her car to Sucre. Sofia is kidnapped by Gretchen's men and she tortures her to get the coordinates from Whistler. Bellick tries to plot a betrayal with Mahone, but he refuses. Michael calls the costumer service of the emergency generator's manufacturer and discovers that they have just thirty seconds lag to reach the fence in the darkness. T-Bag overhears the conversation between Michael and Whistler when he tells that surviving is not giving-up. Sucre sabotages the jeeps but he is detained since there are issues in the records of Jorge Rivera. Whistler gives only half coordinates for the safety of Sofia, LJ, Michael and Lincoln. Lincoln hijacks a bus and crashes it against Sona's transformer initiating the blackout. Lechero, T-Bag and Bellick betray the rest of fugitives telling that they will be the first to leave.

Episode 12 - Hell or High Water
Synopsis : When Lechero, T-Bag and Bellick run to the fence, they are captured by the guards. However, this was the real plan of Michael that waits with Whistler, Mahone and McGrady the exact moment to leave the hideout. When Bellick shows the tunnel, the quartet breaks-out Sona, meeting with Lincoln on the beach, where Whistler notes that he lost the book with the coordinates. They use breathing apparatuses and swim underwater to a buoy, waiting for Sucre. However their fellow is cuffed to a file drawer in Sona. But McGrady's father finds the boat 312 moored in the marina and he rescues the escapees. McGrady follows with his father, while the car of Lincoln and the fugitives is chased by Gretchen's men. However they find the GPS in Whistler's watch and they lure the gangsters in a shootout later. When Sucre is released in Sona, T-Bag sees him and discloses his identity to the guards. Meanwhile, Mahone says goodbye and Whistler escapes from Michael and Lincoln, leaving them with nothing for a negotiation with Gretchen.

Episode 13 - The Art of the Deal
Synopsis : Michael and Lincoln chase Whistler (who calls Gretchen) in the warehouse. However the brothers capture him and Michael schedules the exchange meeting in the public space Plaza de Francia. Gretchen invites him to join The Company, and he changes the spot to the lobby of the Museum of Antiques. Meanwhile, McGrady's truck is stopped for inspection in a police barrier and the policemen sees that the cargo is fertilizer; however, McGrady is hidden in a hideout in the cabin. Then his father drives to Acandi, Colombia, where he is welcomed by his family and friends with a party. T-Bag apparently protects Lechero and lures him telling that they may buy their freedom for US$ 50,000.00. When Lechero calls his prostitute to bring the money, he finds that this is actually T-Bag's plan to escape and the traitor kills him. Sucre is beaten and forced to dig his grave; he does not give any information about Michael, is buried alive and then brought to Sona, where he sees T-Bag. When Gretchen arrives at the museum, she finds that there is metal detector on the entrance. She leaves the armed agents at the exits to kill Michael and Lincoln. They trade LJ per Whistler, and Sofia asks Whistler for the coordinates; they discover that there is no coordinates. Sofia leaves Whistler while Michael breaks a window and the security alarm sounds, and they walk together to the exit. There is a shootout, Sofia is wounded and LJ stays with her. Michael has the chance to kill Gretchen, but he hesitates and she escapes. T-Bag gets part of Lechero's money, makes a speech to the inmates telling that they are all equal and distributes the money. LJ gives Sara's origami to Michael and tells him that Sofia has something that belongs to Whistler in her apartment; he goes there with Lincoln, finds a file of Jason Lief and he splits and say goodbye to Lincoln telling that he must chase Gretchen. Meanwhile, Whistler meets Mahone in a bar and together with Gretchen, they leave the place as a team.
