Episode 01 - There Goes the Neighborhood, Part 1 (17/01/2011)

The U.S. premiere of Being Human opens with a nerdy Josh wandering through the woods, apparently out for an evening stroll. Disrobing, he stands alone, naked, waiting for something, or someone, but what?

Back in town, the dark and handsome Aidan is at the end of a lovely date with Rebecca, his beautiful redheaded co-worker, who invites him in for a nightcap and possibly more. The night takes a sinister turn when Josh transforms into a werewolf and Aidan gives in to his vampire urges and bites Rebecca during sex. The morning finds a blood-smeared Josh lying next a slaughtered deer that he must have killed as a werewolf. Aidan’s kill is much more significant: Rebecca never wakes up. He calls Bishop, the local vampire leader, to help him cover up the murder.

Later, at the Boston hospital where Aidan and Josh work, Aidan broaches the subject of the two of them living together for moral support and camaraderie. Josh is doubtful that it will help but he eventually agrees. When they finally find a place they discover that Sally, the gorgeous former fiancée of the landlord, is haunting their new home as a ghost. She’s elated that they can see and hear her— she’s been incredibly lonely since her death. After some initial tension, the three form an uneasy alliance to help each other assimilate into the world of human beings.

Living together doesn’t make their lives any easier, though. Soon, Aidan sees Marcus, Bishop’s number two, lurking in the halls of the hospital, searching for prominent humans to turn into vampires. Aiden fights with him, telling him that the hospital is off limits for recruiting, but Marcus knows that’s Bishop’s decision to make, not Aidan’s.

It isn’t long before Bishop comes to visit Aidan and seduce him back in the life he once loved as a predatory creature of the night. Aidan wants to stay clean and live peacefully amongst humans but it’s hard to undo the habits he’s formed over hundreds of years of being a vampire. It certainly doesn’t help matters that Cara, Rebecca’s replacement, is interested in him.

Meanwhile, when Josh’s sister Emily shows up at the hospital with her girlfriend, Josh is forced to face the life he left behind two years ago when he was first turned into a werewolf. Emily tells him that his family and friends think he’s dead and she’s desperate to know what made him leave them all behind.

Emily’s curiosity leads her to follow Josh as he sneaks into a remote room of the hospital’s basement where he hopes to transform into a werewolf without hurting anyone. But when Emily gets locked inside the room with Josh just as he begins to transform, only his supernatural roommates can keep him from inadvertently killing her.

"Being Human" is a re-imagining of the acclaimed BBC original. Three 20-something roommates, a ghost, a vampire, and a werewolf, struggle to keep their dark secrets from the world, while helping each other navigate the complexities of living double lives.

Hawaii Five-0 S01E14

Episode 14 - He Kane Hewa' Ole/An Innocent Man (17/01/2011)..

­Chin Ho and Kono join an HPD high-speed chase, however, when the car crashes and the driver is fatally injured, they discover he was carrying a box with a severed human head. McGarrett and his team must first identify the two dead men in order to solve this case. The car turns out to be a rental that the renter reported stolen that morning. Calculating the driver was likely an illegal immigrant, McGarrett and Danny go to a neighborhood where a number of illegal workers live and start asking questions. They find the driver's father and son, all the father knows is his son was going to get a big paycheck to deliver a package; McGarrett bonds with the father and figures the driver had no idea what he was delivering, so this avenue is a dead end in finding the killer. In the meantime, Coroner Max discovers the severed head had a specific radioactive isotope, indicating the victim was a cancer patient so Chin Ho decides to swallow his pride and talk to his ex-fiancée to see if she can identify their victim. She treated the victim and gives them his personal information, however, when they arrive at his house, they discover his wife has been kidnapped. As the team puts together the seemingly disparate threads of the case, they realize the entire plan was masterminded by the murder victim’s wife as a way to extort money from her father.

HAWAII FIVE-0 is a contemporary take on the classic series about a new elite federalized task force whose mission is to wipe out the crime that washes up on the Islands' sun-drenched beaches. Detective Steve McGarrett (Alex O'Loughlin), a decorated Naval officer turned cop, returns to Oahu to investigate his father's murder and stays after Hawaii's governor persuades him to head up the new team: his rules, her backing, no red tape and full blanket immunity to hunt down the biggest "game" in town. Joining McGarrett is Detective Danny "Danno" Williams (Scott Caan), a newly relocated ex-New Jersey cop who prefers skyscrapers to the coastline but is committed to keeping the Islands safe for his 8-year-old daughter; and Chin Ho Kelly (Daniel Dae Kim), an ex-Honolulu Police Detective wrongly accused of corruption and relegated to a federal security patrol, who is also a former protégé of McGarrett's father. Chin's cousin, Kono (Grace Park), is a beautiful and fearless native, fresh out of the academy and eager to establish herself among the department's elite. McGarrett vows to bring closure to his father's case while the state's brash new FIVE-0 unit, who may spar and jest among themselves, is determined to eliminate the seedy elements from the 50th state. Two and a Half Men is an American television comedy series which premiered on CBS on September 22, 2003. Starring Charlie Sheen, Jon Cryer, and Angus T. Jones, the show is about a hedonistic jingle writer, Charlie; his uptight brother, Alan; and Alan's growing son, Jake. Charlie's free-wheeling life is complicated and altered when his brother gets divorced and moves, along with his son, into Charlie's beach-front Malibu house.
There have been seven seasons of Two and a Half Men, with an additional two seasons to come. The show has ranked among the Top 20 programs every season since its first. In 2010, CBS and Warner Bros. Television reached a multi-year broadcast agreement for the series, renewing it through at least the 2011–12 season.

When Audrey hears that Jeff is planning to meet his softball teammate/friend Brenda after work for a couple of beers, she seizes the opportunity to come along in order to try and bond more with Brenda who has agreed to be their surrogate. However, Audrey quickly modifies their plans into a double date with Brenda and her new girlfriend Becky. At the restaurant, Becky is shocked when Audrey reveals Brenda is planning to be their surrogate, as Brenda had not yet told this news to Becky. Becky breaks up with her, and Brenda comes over to the apartment seeking Jeff for consolation, making Audrey realize and accept that her friendship with Brenda will have to evolve over time. Russell takes his date Jessica to a Criss Angel magic show to impress her, only to have Criss make her “disappear” as part of the show, and not return. Meanwhile, Timmy needs Russell to fill out his evaluation in order to receive his raise, so he agrees to babysit Jessica’s unruly 10 year old son Leland while they are at the show. Jennifer is using Joe, the new super to fix everything in their apartment. Adam, a bit jealous, tries to prove he can do stuff around the house only to reconfirm that he cannot when he gets knocked out trying to install a new showerhead.

RULES OF ENGAGEMENT is a comedy about the different phases of male/female relationships, as seen through the eyes of a newly engaged couple, Adam (Oliver Hudson) and Jennifer (Bianca Kajlich), a long-time married pair, Jeff (Patrick Warburton) and Audrey (Megyn Price), and a single guy on the prowl, Russell (David Spade). As they find out, the often confusing stages of a relationship can seem like being on a roller coaster. People can describe the ride to you, but to really know what it's like you have to experience it for yourself.

Lynette’s mom, Stella (guest star Polly Bergen), comes to town with news that she’s getting married. Her fiancé Frank (guest star Larry Hagman) is a total tool. The guy’s rude, crude and obnoxious. He’s also loaded, which is the only reason Stella is marrying the jerk. Judging by the actor who plays Frank, we’re thinking the guy may have made his money in the oil industry.

Tom convinces Lynette to suck it up and support her mom on her wedding day. But as she’s pushing the wheelchair-bound bride-to-be down the aisle, Lynette rolls her mom right out the door. Stella tells her daughter that she’s not really marrying Frank for his money. She’s with the guy because he needs her and that makes her feel good inside. With that, Lynette wheels her mom back into the church. Who knows? Frank has a bad ticker. Maybe he’ll keel over during the honeymoon.

Susan tries to become dialysis buddies with a man named Dick, whose bad attitude fits nicely with his name. He’s a mean old man who rejects Susan’s multiple attempts to be friendly. See, Dick’s been doing the dialysis thing for years. He has no room in his life for optimism.

Susan realizes Dick actually does have hope when there’s chance he’s being contacted for a new kidney. But alas, the call is for someone else. Susan can see the guy is crushed. She grabs a seat next to him and takes hold of his hand. Dick takes her hand, too. After all, you can never have too many dialysis buddies.

Bree meets a pretty woman named Amber James. She’s Keith’s ex-girlfriend. They haven’t seen each other in seven years and Keith has no idea she even stopped by. Bree, however, pays a follow-up visit to Amber and meets her six-year-old boy, Charlie, who also happens to be Keith’s son.

Amber never told Keith about Charlie. Bree offers to break the news for her. But she can’t do it after hearing Keith admit that he gave up the concept of kids when he chose to be with her. Bree never tells her boyfriend about Charlie, but leads Amber to believe that she did. She hands the woman a check, leaving her with the idea that Keith didn’t want to meet his own son. Oh boy. Not good.

Bob and Lee hire Renee to design their adopted daughter’s bedroom. She’s not very maternal, but she’s 20 percent cheaper than their first choice. Surprise, surprise! Renee does an amazing job. She used her past desire to have kids as inspiration. Renee becomes supremely uncomfortable when Lee suggests that it’s never too late to adopt. They obviously hit a nerve. All is well, however, once Renee meets the new kid on the block and agrees to help Bob and Lee should she ever need advice about lady stuff. Just don’t call her Aunty Renee.

When Gaby notices that Mrs. McCluskey has a doll, she suggests they have a tea party with Princess Valerie. The word Mrs. McCluskey is looking for is… huh? Carlos realizes the doll is Gaby’s way of coping with the loss of Grace. Things go from bad to worse when they become victims of a carjacking. Carlos has to pull Gaby away from the gunman after she refuses to leave the car without her doll. The carjacker speeds away as Carlos tries to comfort his devastated wife.

Beth catches Paul sitting in a corner, crying in the middle of the night. He has so much hatred for all those who have wronged him. Beth has no idea that her hubby now thinks she’s one of those people. Otherwise, we doubt she would have accepted his invitation to a remote cabin in the woods. Seriously, does anything good ever happen in remote cabins?

The police detectives investigating the shooting approach Paul moments before he and Beth are to leave on their trip. They ask if he recognizes the gun that was found at Bree’s place. It’s obvious he does. He says, “Detectives, I know for a fact this is not Beth’s gun.” Paul then cancels the trip to the cabin, as he now believes the bullet that pierced his body may have come courtesy of his long lost son, Zach.

Desperate Housewives is an American television comedy-drama series created by Marc Cherry, who also serves as show runner, and produced by ABC Studios and Cherry Productions. Executive producers, as of the fourth season, are Marc Cherry, Bob Daily, George W. Perkins, John Pardee and Joey Murphy, David Grossman, Larry Shaw and Sabrina Wind.

The setting of the show is the street of Wisteria Lane in the fictional American town of Fairview in the Eagle State. Californication is an American comedy-drama that premiered on Showtime on August 13, 2007. The show was created by Tom Kapinos. The protagonist, Hank Moody (David Duchovny), is a troubled novelist whose move to California, coupled with his writer's block, complicates his relationships with his long time girlfriend Karen (Natascha McElhone) and daughter Becca (Madeleine Martin). Californication's other main characters are Charlie Runkle (Evan Handler), Marcy Runkle (Pamela Adlon), and Mia Cross (Madeline Zima). The show has been nominated and won several awards, including winning one Emmy Award (nominated for two others) and one Golden Globe Award (nominated for three others). Californication has aired for three complete seasons. Due to strong ratings for the third season premiere, Showtime renewed the show early for a fourth season. Season four began filming in April 2010 and premiered January 9, 2011 at 9:00PM ET (8PM CT.). On January 14, 2011, the show was renewed for a fifth season.

CSI Miami S09E12

Episode 12 - Wheels Up (16/01/2011)..

­At trendy Roller Derby stadium, mid competition between the Miami Masochists and Loca Boca Ratons, superstar Connie Briggs is murdered in the locker room after a brawl on the rink. Connie went into the locker room with severe stomach pains after the brawl, and was discovered dead shortly thereafter. Loman examines her body and uncovers many old wounds healed over, indicating physical abuse. He later concludes that a shard of her rib that had been hanging on to her rib cage for sometime broke off from blunt force to her back and cut into a major blood vessel, causing her to bleed out. Vince Kessler, a groupie for the opposing team, is questioned and is a match for a mouth guard that Connie was wearing (molded from his mouth) filled with ipecac, a medicine used to induce vomiting. After meeting with Lucy Strickland, emergency contact, roommate and best friend of Connie’s, she tells them about a fight that our victim had with another skater, Tara Werner. We find Tara at a local rehab center and discover that she’s paralyzed from an injury inflicted by Connie; an accident during a competition. Vince Kessler shows up; he is her brother, and he wanted to get Connie back for what she did to his sister, so he put the ipecac in the mouth guard, but he did not kill her. Back to roommate Lucy who reveals that Connie used to date Jake McGrath, and he was abusing her but she feared he would hurt her too if she told. Horatio, Delko and Srg. Tripp arrest him and inspect his apartment for evidence. They find a heavy bag with identical indents from shoulder pads like that on Connie’s back. Jake tells them Connie and Lucy used to use heavy bag, not him. Turns out Lucy was jealous that Connie got into the Derby and she wasn’t good enough to make the team, and that Connie wasn’t around anymore to be with her like they used to. They discover upon inspection of her stuff that there is steel in Lucy’s elbow pads where plastic should be, as well as Connie’s blood. Lucy was in the locker room when Connie came off the rink. She smashed her elbow pad down on to Connie’s back while she was heaving and killed her.

The 36th season of the NBC sketch comedy series Saturday Night Live is currently in production. The season began on September 25, 2010, with former cast member Amy Poehler serving as host and Katy Perry as the musical guest.

Saturday Night Live (SNL) is a live late-night television sketch comedy and variety show developed by Lorne Michaels and Dick Ebersol. It premiered on NBC, a terrestrial television network in the United States, on October 11, 1975, under the original title of NBC's Saturday Night.

The show's sketches often parody contemporary American culture and politics. Saturday Night Live features a two-tiered cast consisting of repertory members, also called the "Not Ready For Prime Time Players" (the name used by the show's original cast), and newer cast members who are known as "Featured Players."

Each week, the show features a host who delivers an opening monologue and performs in sketches with the cast. A musical guest also performs. With the exception of season 7, the show has begun with a cold open sketch (usually based around politically-themed current events) that ends with someone breaking character and proclaiming, "Live from New York, it's Saturday Night!"

Episode 12 - A Thing About You (12/01/2011)

Grayson is feeling really good about "Jason." He combined Jules' name with his just like they do with celebrity couples. Yeah, Jason doesn't work for Jules. She suggests "Grules." Thankfully, the naming rights discussion gets tabled when Jules starts talking about the future. She's Future Gal. Grayson, on the other hand, is Now Guy. These two are mortal enemies. Guess that's why Jules decides to live in the moment.

And the topic of the moment is the concept that men are loyal friends while women tend to ditch their pals at the drop of a hat. Jules promises that she'd do anything for her two best gal pals. That's precisely why she can't reject Laurie's request to crash at her place for the weekend while her apartment is being painted.

Of course, there's no such thing as loyalty when a new wine bar opens. The fact that the place is competition for Grayson's pub can't keep our girls from downing a few quick, covert glasses. Too bad Jules is banned from the place when a snooty wine bar guy named Wayne accuses her of not drinking for the right reasons. But that doesn't stop Ellie from returning to the place behind her BFF's back.

Snooty wine bar guy Wayne and Ellie are kindred spirits. They are both super-judgmental and enjoy ridiculing others from afar. But when Wayne takes a nasty dig at Jules, Ellie lets him know that won't fly with her. She demoralizes the wine dude in one dead-on rant. The whole scene is a total turn-on for Andy, who whisks his wife away once the carnage is complete. Later, snooty wine guy Wayne fills Big Carl to the brim for Jules. He has no choice. Best friend Ellie is standing right beside her.

Jules finds living with Laurie to be a true test of their friendship. She decides to be honest and says that she can't take her as a houseguest any longer. When Jules learns that Laurie fibbed about her apartment being painted, she totally goes off on her future ex-roomie. Of course, Jules feels horrible when Laurie admits that the only reason she lied is so they could spend some time together. That hasn't been an easy thing to do since she started dating Grayson.

Jules is shocked when Laurie doesn't seem the least bit upset about all the horrible things she said. That's because Laurie knows that even though friends sometimes fight, they always have each other's back. A heart-to-heart chat leads Jules to admit that she wishes she was more comfortable with who she is. She wishes she could be more like Laurie. Aww.

Bobby worries that his son may start looking at Grayson as a father figure after Trav seeks advice from the G-man regarding Kirsten's desire for more romance. Bobby suggests Trav write a love song. Possible titles include "Stairway to Kirsten" and "Hotel Kirstenfornia." Bobby eighty-sixed "Kirsten and Julio Down by the Schoolyard" because it sounds like she's throwin' down with someone else. Makes sense.

Travis asks Grayson to share some of that romantic gibberish he used to dole out to get chicks. Again, Bobby is bummed that his boy didn't come to him. He later tells Travis that the key to romance is creating a moment. So, that's what Bobby does. He sets up lights on his boat so Travis can spend a romantic night with Kirsten looking out at the ocean from his spot in the parking lot. Grayson gave Bobby the idea because that's the kind of thing friends do for each other.

Episode 11 - Ships in the Night (11/01/2011)

Our team investigates the murder First Lt. Patrick Nolan when he is shot and killed while on a dinner boat with his sister and uncle. Having just returned from Afghanistan we learn that Patrick was the son of the late Richard Nolan, millionaire business magnet. Richard cut Patrick out of his will because Patrick decided to serve his country rather than run the family business. Autopsy results reveal that the shooter was at least 15 feet away from Patrick, who was on the deck, when he was shot. Abby concludes that 15 feet away either meant that the shooter was in the water or on another boat. All the other guest on the boat are eliminated as suspects. Patrick was an exemplary Marine but he was recently charged with assaulting a Gavin Lodge upon his return to the states. Tabloids reveal that Patrick’s sister, socialite Kimberly, recently dated Gavin Lodge and photos were leaked indicating that Gavin slapped Kimberly around. Playboy Gavin claims to have nothing to do with Patrick’s death. Things get even more complicated when Abby finds someone else’s blood on Patrick’s body. Someone else was there with Patrick and was possibly shot as well. We also conclude that the second boat used to carry our shooter was owned by the Gavin Lodge’s family. When a body is found in the Patomac we discover that it’s our shooter who happened to be a shooter for hire. Who hired the assassin to kills Nolan? In the end the mastermind turned out to be Kimberly Nolan and the company’s CFO. Right before Richard Nolan died he revised his will leaving everything to Patrick. Kimberly and the CFO found out that dad revised his will and set out to have Patrick killed. However, they neglected to realize that in Patrick’s will he decided to use the family wealth to start a charitable organization. Kimberly was there when Patrick was shot and was grazed in the arm.

Episode 12 - Overwatch (11/01/2011)

Two gunmen steal the body of a Muslim man, Yusef Afzal, from the morgue after he was murdered in his home. A classified Navy signature embedded in a type of residue is found on Yusef's body by the coroner before the body is taken. NCIS:LA is called in to find Yusef's killers and their connection to the mystery residue. Eric traces the residue to a classified Naval program that was developed to tag and track terrorists. A former Homeland Security employee, Hector Lee, who worked on the project was found to have been tagging young Muslim men in the L.A area to track them because he believed they all were a risk to national security. Yusef was one of those men and once Eric unlocked the Hector's encryption, the team located Yusef's body but was shocked to find it was on the move in the hospital he worked at. Sam and Callen rush to the hospital to find Yusef's decapitated head near a secured access door where nuclear pharmaceuticals had been stolen. The team uses nuclear tracking devices around the city to trace the men’s whereabouts. Sam and Callen find one of the killers and shoot him dead as they find the nuclear material in his bag. Deeks chases down and fights off the other killer who Deeks shots dead as well. The men intended to sell the nuclear material to terrorists who wanted to make a dirty bomb. Yusef happened to be a technician at the hospital who the killers targeted because they saw he had access to the area they needed to infiltrate and they killed him at his home but needed to then steal his body morgue after a neighbor heard the commotion and came to the house interrupting the killers plans.

Unlike previous seasons where a break in production occurred between seasons, the sixth installment was shot several months after Bad Girls Club: Miami was completed. Season 6 debuted with 1.71 million viewers, up from 25% from last season which earned 1.34 million viewers. Season 6 was nominated for "Favorite Reality-Show Guilty Pleasure" for the second annual IVillage awards.
