Episode 07 - What Are You Made Of? (10/08/2010)
Sasha and Summer prepare the Rock to host the National Teams last practice before the team is narrowed down by the committee for Worlds.
Lauren begs Chloe not to tell her dad about finding she and Carter having sex in the attic. She hopes Chloe can have sympathy for her because she doesn’t have a mother like the other girls to confide in.
Ellen Beals is convinced that Kelly Parker is the best person on the team, but Marty seems to think Kaylie has a fair chance at being the best. Sasha informs Marty that Kaylie is pressing herself to lose weight in order to perform a round off Arabian Mount, the move only Genji Cho has been able to land. Sasha informs Beals that Kaylie shouldn’t be asked to perform the mount, but Ellen dismisses Sasha.
Marty attempts to stop Beals from picking on Emily at practice, and Beals fires him. Kelly Parker notices Kaylie has lost a lot of weight and tells Beals that Kaylie is clearly getting too thin.
Payson arrives at her first ballet class where she has a difficult time being graceful and the tough ballet instructor Viola, is not making it any easier.
Beals hands Lauren an envelope with a check showing that Steve is funding Emily’s private endowment group.

When the Rock girls compete against the Chinese everyone calls them gutsy. (Or crazy.) When they win five medals -- compared to the National Team's four -- people say they're the best. But the Rock gymnasts and their coach are also being called renegades – a label that could hurt them in the eyes of the National Committee.
It's a risky choice to go against the National Committee -- one that could have serious ramifications. And it's not the only major decision the gymnasts have had to make. Kaylie risks losing her endorsements by competing in the invitational, and Emily could lose her scholarship.
Then there are the other personal choices everyone's had to make. Whether it's a decision about love, friendship or family -- everything in the girls' lives has been kicked up a notch. (Or a million.)
The stakes are higher than ever. The gymnasts will be pushed to the limit. And loyalties will be tested like never before.
All eyes are upon them. They have so much to prove. And so much to lose.
There's only one thing left to do …
Rock on!
