The 36th season of the NBC sketch comedy series Saturday Night Live is currently in production. The season began on September 25, 2010, with former cast member Amy Poehler serving as host and Katy Perry as the musical guest.

Saturday Night Live (SNL) is a live late-night television sketch comedy and variety show developed by Lorne Michaels and Dick Ebersol. It premiered on NBC, a terrestrial television network in the United States, on October 11, 1975, under the original title of NBC's Saturday Night.

The show's sketches often parody contemporary American culture and politics. Saturday Night Live features a two-tiered cast consisting of repertory members, also called the "Not Ready For Prime Time Players" (the name used by the show's original cast), and newer cast members who are known as "Featured Players."

Each week, the show features a host who delivers an opening monologue and performs in sketches with the cast. A musical guest also performs. With the exception of season 7, the show has begun with a cold open sketch (usually based around politically-themed current events) that ends with someone breaking character and proclaiming, "Live from New York, it's Saturday Night!"

Season ten of Smallville, an American television series, premiered on September 24, 2010 and will consist of 22 episodes. It will be the fifth and final season to air on the CW television network. The series recounts the early adventures of Kryptonian Clark Kent as he adjusts to life in the fictional town of Smallville, Kansas, during the years before he becomes Superman. Regular cast members during season ten currently include Tom Welling, Erica Durance, Justin Hartley, Cassidy Freeman, and Allison Mack.

The final season of the series, season ten plans to continue the romance first developed between Clark Kent and Lois Lane in season nine, as well as the continuation of Clark's trials, and the forging of his superhero identity "Superman". During its tenth season, Smallville will beat the Guinness World Record for longest consecutive running United States science fiction television show—currently held by Stargate SG-1

CSI New York S07E10

Episode 10 - Shop Till You Drop (03/12/2010)..

It's wintertime in New York and Jo is dragging Mac through the streets to make it to an annual window display unveiling at a renowned department store in Manhattan. In the crowd, Mac eyes a pickpocket and gives chase, annoying Jo since she really doesn't want to miss the display. They catch the pickpocket and the display is presented only to reveal a man's dead body among the hung ornaments and gift boxes in the window. The victim, Richard Grossman, was a not-well-liked store manager whose employees despised him. Only one employee, who Grossman fired shortly before his death, had a prior record for assault, Pascal Denton. Denton, who was engaged to another employee Alena Maybrook until six months ago, tells the team he is innocent but is glad Grossman is dead and the team finds his story checks out. The team finds the pickpocket had blood from the scene on his jacket and he tells them a young woman rushing out of the store in a hurry bumped into him. Surveillance footage from the store reveals the woman who bumped into our pickpocket is Alena Maybrook and the blood evidence left in the store's bathroom in linked to her as well. It turns out, Maybrook had recently found out she was dying from cancer and was stealing from the store to try an help a fellow co-worker. Grossman caught her on tape and threatened to expose her if she did not start a sexual relationship with him. Alena reluctantly agreed but that night she stood up to Grossman and said no to his advances. Grossman attacked her but Maybrook was able to get her hands on a metal rod from the display and hit Grossman over the head, killing him.

CSI: NY (Crime Scene Investigation: New York) is an American police procedural television series that premiered on September 22, 2004, on CBS. The series was the second indirect spin-off from the veteran series CSI: Crime Scene Investigation and directly from CSI: Miami during an episode in which several of the CSI: NY characters made their first appearance. In season seven the show airs on Fridays at 9/8PM ET/PT on CBS or in the UK on Channel Five on Saturdays at 9:40pm. Repeats are usually shown on Five USA.

The show follows the investigations of a team of NYPD forensic scientists and police officers as they unveil the circumstances behind mysterious and unusual deaths as well as other crimes. CSI: NY was produced in partnership with the Canadian media company Alliance Atlantis. The company dissolved after the third season in 2007 and all production is now done under the purview of CBS Paramount Television.

On May 19, 2010, CBS renewed the show for a seventh season of 24 episodes, that premiered on Friday September 24, 2010. On December 3, 2010, CSI: NY aired its 150th episode.

Peter grapples with the aftermath of recent events as Olivia desperately searches for an ally. Meanwhile, the Fringe Team discovers a critical device that communicates between universes.

Fringe follows the casework of the Fringe Division, a Joint Federal Task Force supported primarily by the Federal Bureau of Investigation, which includes Agent Olivia Dunham; Dr. Walter Bishop, the archetypal mad scientist; and Peter Bishop, Walter's estranged son and jack-of-all-trades. They are supported by Phillips Broyles, the force's director, and Agent Astrid Farnsworth, who assists Walter in laboratory research. The Fringe Division investigates cases relating to fringe science, ranging from transhumanist experiments gone wrong to the prospect of a destructive technological singularity to a possible collision of two parallel universes. The Fringe Division's work often intersects with advanced biotechnology developed by a company called Massive Dynamic, founded by Walter's former partner, Dr. William Bell and run by their common friend, Nina Sharp. The team is also watched silently by a group of bald, pale men who call themselves "Observers".

Season 1 introduces the Fringe Division as they investigate cases that form "the Pattern", many orchestrated by the bioterrorist organization, ZFT (Zerstörung durch Fortschritte der Technologie, or in English, Destruction through advances in technology). Olivia comes to learn she was a child test subject for Walter years ago for a nootropic drug, Cortexiphan, giving her weak psionic abilities. Walter also struggles with adjusting to normal life in Peter's care after living several years in a mental institution, and hides a secret about Peter's past from him.

In Season 2, the occurrences are found to be in conjunction with activities of a parallel universe, which is plagued by singularities occurring at weakened points of their world. The Fringe team deals with more cases that are leading to a "perfect storm" as the parallel universe appears to be at war with the prime one. Walter is forced to tell Peter that he is from the parallel universe, a replacement for his own Peter that died from a genetic disease, and that it is his prior experiments that caused the singularities in the parallel universe.

Season 3 presents episodes that alternate between the two universes. "Walternate", Walter's doppelgänger in the parallel universe, has set events in motion to assemble a doomsday device that reacts only to Peter's biology, sending his Olivia, "Fauxlivia", into the prime universe in Olivia's place, get close to Peter, and guide them to find the doomsday device's prime universe counterpart. Olivia, trapped in the parallel universe, is subjected to experimentation by Walternate to explore her Cortexiphan-induced abilities. She is able to escape to her own universe using her psionic abilities and expose Fauxlivia to Peter. Fauxlivia is extracted to the parallel universe, having withdrawn a critical component of the doomsday device, but soon finds she is pregnant with Peter's child. In the prime universe, Olivia and Peter resolve their relation due to Fauxlivia's involvement, while evidence of weak points in the fabric of reality start to develop.

Ann and Chelsey were sent to do their Vogue Italia cover shots, where the photographer lauded them both. They arrived at Orta San Giulio and were sent to shoot their CoverGirl commercial, where instead of memorizing lines, they were instructed to do voice-overs. After the shoot, their families made a surprise appearance, where it was revealed that they would be sitting at the front row during their final fashion show. The next day, the final two met IMG Models executive Ivan Bart, where Ivan was pleased with Chelsey's personality and modeling experience, while Ann was advised to work on her personality, though her photos impressed. Ann and Chelsey were joined by Cycle 14 winner Krista White and eliminated cycle 15 girls Chris, Kayla, Jane and Liz as they walked for Roberto Cavalli's Just Cavalli line.

At panel, Jay Manuel and Roberto Cavalli sat as guest judges. Chelsey's walk was deemed as focused but stiff, while Ann's was much improved but was chastised for her "scared" facial expressions. For their voice-overs, Chelsey's natural smile was universally praised but the judges thought she was an actress more than a model; Ann's voice was castigated but she looked stunning in the commercial. Chelsey's CoverGirl ad was unanimously deemed as beautiful, although it may had been too pretty for a makeup ad, although her ease during the shoot itself was praised. Though Ann's photo was deemed beautiful, it was chastised for being too editorial, which made the judges worry if she could do commercial modelling. During deliberations, the judges were torn over the "breakout star" Ann and her rare high fashion look, and "professional model" Chelsey's all-American girl-next-door persona, as well as her immense knowledge of the fashion industry.

The girls were called back, and Ann was announced to be the fifteenth winner of America's Next Top Model.

Marti drags Savannah to a barbecue to try to cheer her up, but Savannah drinks too much and flirts with the DJ, which later puts her in an uncomfortable position. Eventually, Marti decides to tell Savannah about what had happened between her and Dan.

Hellcats is an American cheerleading comedy-drama television series that airs on The CW in the United States. Based on the book Cheer: Inside the Secret World of College Cheerleaders by journalist Kate Torgovnick, the series focuses in the lives of college cheerleaders, mainly Marti Perkins (Aly Michalka), a pre-law college student who has to join the cheerleading team, the Hellcats, in order to get the athletic scholarship she needs. The main cast also includes Ashley Tisdale, Robbie Jones, Heather Hemmens, Matt Barr, Gail O'Grady and Sharon Leal.

In May 2010, Hellcats had been picked by The CW for the fall 2010–11 season. Initially with a 13-episode order, The CW aired the series after America's Next Top Model on Wednesday nights. The pilot episode aired on September 8, 2010, and became the first premiere to ever match or build on an America's Next Top Model lead-in since The CW began in 2006. The CW later gave a full season order for the series, with executives saying they were "thrilled that [it] paid off for us".

Hellcats follows Marti Perkins, a pre-law college student at Lancer University, who lost her scholarship and has no other choice but to join the college's cheer squad, the Hellcats, in order to obtain a new one. There she meets her new roommate and team captain Savannah Monroe, the injured flyer Alice Verdura, her new partner Lewis Flynn and the Hellcats coach Vanessa Lodge who hopes to win nationals, otherwise the cheer leading program will be cut. All the while, Marti also has to deal with her financially unstable and sometimes irresponsible mother, Wanda Perkins, whom she often has to bail out of difficult situations, and her best friend Dan Patch. Dan and Savannah begin dating and subsequently split after Marti revealed that she and Dan hooked up, but Savannah and Dan reconcile at Dan's brother's wedding.

The Walking Dead S01E05

Episode 05 - Wildfire (28/11/2010)

The survivors burn walkers' bodies, though Glenn insists they should bury their dead. Andrea cradles Amy nearby, unwilling to let anyone near the body. Dale commiserates, explaining that since his wife's death, "you girls were the first people that I cared anything for."

Andrea tells Dale she feels guilty for missing so many of Amy's birthdays. "I'm sorry for not ever being there," Andrea sobs, shooting the now-walker Amy in the head.

When Jim's injury is revealed, Rick suggests the group go to the CDC for help. Shane thinks the Army base in Fort Benning, 100 miles away, is safer.
While sweeping the forest for walkers, Shane tries to convince Rick to change his mind. "I've gotta do what's best for my family," Rick says. "If it was your family you'd feel differently." Enraged, Shane aims his gun at an unknowing Rick, but comes to his senses.

Later, Shane announces his support of Rick's plan. Morales says that his family will not be joining the group and they head off in a different direction.

En route to the CDC, the RV breaks down. Jim, in agony, asks Rick to leave him behind. "I want to be with my family," he says of his late wife and children. The group reluctantly leaves him beneath a tree.

In a CDC laboratory, disheveled scientist Dr. Jenner performs experiments on tissue sample TS-19. He accidentally spills corrosive fluid initiating a decontamination sequence that destroys the sample.
Meanwhile, Rick's caravan approaches the CDC. Jenner w
atches the group's approach via a security monitor. He agrees to allow them into the building, provided they submit to blood tests.

The Walking Dead tells the story of the aftermath of a zombie apocalypse; it follows a small group of survivors, traveling across the desolate United States in search of a new home away from the shuffling hordes of the undead. The group is led by Rick Grimes, who was a sheriff's deputy in a small Georgia town, before the zombie outbreak. As their situation grows more and more grim, the group's desperation to survive pushes them to the brink of insanity. At every turn they are faced with unspeakable horrors—both from the dead, and from the scattered remains of a struggling human populace.
