The 36th season of the NBC sketch comedy series Saturday Night Live is currently in production. The season began on September 25, 2010, with former cast member Amy Poehler serving as host and Katy Perry as the musical guest.

Saturday Night Live (SNL) is a live late-night television sketch comedy and variety show developed by Lorne Michaels and Dick Ebersol. It premiered on NBC, a terrestrial television network in the United States, on October 11, 1975, under the original title of NBC's Saturday Night.

The show's sketches often parody contemporary American culture and politics. Saturday Night Live features a two-tiered cast consisting of repertory members, also called the "Not Ready For Prime Time Players" (the name used by the show's original cast), and newer cast members who are known as "Featured Players."

Each week, the show features a host who delivers an opening monologue and performs in sketches with the cast. A musical guest also performs. With the exception of season 7, the show has begun with a cold open sketch (usually based around politically-themed current events) that ends with someone breaking character and proclaiming, "Live from New York, it's Saturday Night!"

CSI New York S07E11

Episode 11 - To What End? (07/01/2011)..

The show opens with a clown putting on make-up, walking down a NY street, and up to a brownstone. A man opens the door and greets the clown, whereupon, the clown pulls out a gun and shoots him. The trail is lost, however, because the clown had posted an ad on Craig’s list, inviting people to come to the location of the murder, dressed like a clown to win a prize, in order to mask his escape. Our CSIs follow the evidence and find the shooter, it turns out he was in witness protection in Kansas; he was an innocent witness to a crime and had to leave his entire life, including his pregnant girlfriend behind. Someone had ordered a hit on him and he managed to capture the hired gun, torture him to find out the name of the man who hired him. He then heads to New York, killing the man who took out a contract on his life. He was an innocent man who gave up his life to “do the right thing” only to be a target anyway which made him want to take back his life. It’s somewhat of a personal case for Flack, since he was the detective who persuaded our suspect to testify and go into WitSec. In the end, Flack gives the suspect a chance to visit with the son he never met, before Flack takes him to jail.
The FBI gets involved in the case and we have our first encounter with Jo’s ex-husband, who happens to be the agent assigned to the investigation.

CSI Las Vegas S11E11

Episode 11 - Man Up (06/01/2011)..

A dead woman's photo is posted on a website and our CSIs work to trace the woman's last night in hopes of finding her killer. The woman is a former prostitute who her boyfriend says left that life to be a legitimate model. Nick and the team find that her last night was spent in the back of Carrot Top's limo and he claims he was kidnapped by the three men with the young woman. Forensics leads our CSIs to three men who were reliving a moment in their college days when they created an adult scavenger hunt where the final task was to "kill a hooker". The men claim they never killed the woman and just paid her to take that picture so two of the men could win the game and get the third man to pay for the Vegas trip. The team soon discovers that the third man was so desperate to one-up the others, when he found out it was all a joke, he killed the hooker and tried to pin the murder on the other two in order to prove he was the real winner. Meanwhile, Hodges finds the motorcycle he bought at a swap meet has its own bloody mystery when a severed thumb and blood are found in the exhaust. Langston helps Hodges investigate and they discover the bike has replacement parts that came from a local salvage yard. One of the owners of the salvage yard sold off the pieces of what was left of a motorcycle that was recently caught in the middle of a horrendous two bus accident. Hodges finds the motorcycle victim's former girlfriend, who looks remarkably like Wendy. She claims her ex-boyfriend bought a motorcycle after she left him and he wanted to go out on the road in order to forget about her but died in the accident just a half mile into his journey. This story resonates with Hodges and he decides to let his dream of riding the open road go and possibly move on from Wendy.

Cougar Town S02E11

Episode 11 - No Reason to Cry (05/01/2011)

Jules Cobb is the Angel of Death. She adopts this catchy nickname after killing Grayson Dove with a kitchen accessory. Grayson Dove, by the way, is one of two white birds that have been hanging outside her window. Jules Dove is the other. They symbolize the safe, loving relationship of their less-feathery namesakes.

Jules has accepted that her boyfriend is a slow-moving wuss when it comes to saying “I love you.” Nevertheless, Grayson is making great strides in their relationship. He recently kissed Jules while she had her mouth guard in. That’s like making out with a boxer. But still no “I love you” from the G-man.

Things take a bad turn when Jules accidentally whacks Grayson Dove with a frying pan. This Teflon tragedy saddens Jules. Any future these actual lovebirds had together has now vanished. The fact that Grayson isn’t very upset about the situation bums out Jules even more. He’s also not shedding any tears for the squirrel she accidentally runs down with her car. His name was Tuffy L’Rue.

RANDOM LAURIE UPDATE: Laurie’s creative juices have been flowing lately. She says, “I’m writing a screenplay. It’s a cartoon about a plucky termite princess named Molly who gets kidnapped and sold into sex slavery. It’s not a kids’ movie.” In other news, Laurie gets confused by coffee sizes. She convinces local coffee workers to change the names. Ellie is getting a “largey.”

Speaking of Ellie, she gets ticked at Andy when he tricks Laurie into calling a barista by the wrong name. That won’t bode well with when it comes time to name new coffee sizes. It’s not that Ellie is opposed to having her hubby make her nemesis look like a fool. The problem is that this particular prank was something he used to play only on her. It’s no longer personal.

Odd neighbor Tom pops by to thank Ellie for the note she wrote him. The heartfelt sentiments she expressed for being so nasty to him was just so special. As you may have guessed, Ellie has no idea what Odd Tom is talking about. That’s because Andy wrote the letter. He promises to never pull this new “fake apology note” prank on anyone but Ellie. So disturbingly sweet.

Bobby is desperately trying to get a sponsor for the upcoming golf tournament. He sets his sights on Diet Dr. Pepper. Why? Well, one of the company’s execs happens to be playing golf on the course where he’s putting with extreme precision. Or the guy could just be a doctor with a surname of Pepper. Too close to call.

Travis warns Kirsten not to meddle when she realizes Bobby is out of touch with the world around him. Too late. Trav’s main lady clues Bobby in about all the problems that are out there. Soon he’s stressing over things like global warming, the economic crisis and racism. Bobby’s concentration on the golf course is shot.

Travis and Kirsten realize that the only way to cure Bobby’s depression is to desensitize him to the horrors of the world and fill his mind with a bunch of white noise. Actually, any kind of noise will do. Like, say, the fizzing sound that accompanies a freshly-poured glass of Diet Dr. Pepper. Soon Bobby’s sinking putts as the world around him continues to suck. Obliviousness like this is what makes the great ones great.

SPLAT! The cul-de-sac killing spree continues when Jules accidentally squishes a lizard with her shoe. All this animal death has Jules wondering if she and Grayson are meant to be together. They’re just so different. Later, Grayson convinces Jules to put down Big Carl long enough to follow him out to the front yard where he’s dug three little graves. One is for Grayson Dove, the next is for Tuffy L’Rue and the last is for the unnamed lizard who remains stuck to the bottom of Jules’ now-buried shoe. That little guy was really on there.

Grayson made this little pet cemetery to honor the fallen. Jules thinks he’s making fun of her. In reality, Grayson just wants to say something in front of the whole peanut gallery (aka the cul-de-sac crew). He says, “All those ways that you’re different from me, that’s why I love you.” Woo hoo! He said it!

Desperate Housewives S07E11

Episode 11 - Assassins (02/01/2011)

When we last left Paul Young, he was lying smack dab in the middle of Wisteria Lane after getting shot. The neighbors watch as he’s loaded into an ambulance. The police detectives on the scene discover the guy has lots of enemies on the lane. That means lots of suspects. But Paul’s wife, Beth, has only one: her mama.

"If I never tell Lynette what happened, then my friendship with her is not real."

Felicia Tilman certainly has motive. After all, Paul got away with killing her sister. But she’s genuinely surprised to hear that her nemesis is in the hospital recovering from an assassination attempt. Felicia makes a call to the person she believes may have been behind the shooting: Mike Delfino.

Yes, Mike is back and Susan is thrilled. It’s just the boost she needs after learning her injuries from the riot forced doctors to remove a kidney. Susan is advised to go on dialysis, but refuses to entertain such a notion. Her attitude changes after she collapses in front of MJ. We get a little lump in our throats when Susan asks Lynette, Bree and Gaby if they’ll be there to help Mike with MJ if something bad happens to her. Of course they will be. Absolutely.

Mike isn’t the only person returning to the neighborhood. Orson’s back, too. He claims girlfriend Judy kicked him out and he needs a place to stay. The timing couldn’t be worse, as Keith is busy moving all of his things into Bree’s place. Well, most of his things. His beanbag chair inadvertently got ripped when Bree stuck it with a knife and stuffed it in the trash. Hey, accidents happen. Just ask Keith’s shattered lava lamp.

Keith and Orson don’t like each other. Some verbal digs lead into an all-out food fight at the dinner table. Thankfully, Bree’s coq au vin is always very tender. Otherwise, someone could have been seriously hurt! Later, Bree learns that Orson is the one who left Judy. Why? Well, he’s still in love with his ex. He won’t give up on her. We’re hoping his attitude changes after he sees firsthand how happy Bree is with Keith.
"Orson, you will always have a piece of my heart. But you have to understand that this is over."

A guilty Gaby takes Juanita shopping for an expensive new doll to make up for the whole “I’m not really your biological mother” fiasco. The plan seems to be working until Juanita catches Gaby gazing at Grace’s picture on her cell phone. A therapist says the only way Juanita can heal is if they remove Grace from their lives.

All keepsakes and photos of Grace must be ditched. Gaby doesn’t want to do it, so Carlos does it for her. This sends a somewhat despondent Gaby back to the store where she buys a brand new doll. It’s not for Juanita though. Gaby tells the saleswoman that this one’s for her. Then she cradles the doll like it’s a real baby. Uh oh.

Tom is thrilled to learn that Susan isn’t going to say anything to Lynette about his past relationship with Renee. Whew! Problem solved, right? Wrong. Renee has a first class case of the guilts. She says, “If I never tell Lynette what happened, then my friendship with her is not real.”

During a lunch meeting with a new client, Lynette scores some oatmeal raisin cookies for Renee because she knows how much she loves them. This causes Renee to have a mini-breakdown. She tells her BFF the truth about her past liaison with Tom. Everybody duck!

"Yes, I hate you. A lot. But I do foresee a day far in the future when I might only hate you a little."

Surprisingly, Lynette takes the news well. Okay, not really. She’s plenty peeved at Renee but believes she may be a little less angry in the very distant future. For now, she doesn’t want Tom to know that she knows. Why? Well, judging by the fact that she tricks her hubby into burning his tongue on some piping hot chocolate, we’re thinking Lynette will dole out his punishment slowly and methodically over time. Sounds like a plan!

Mike visits Felicia at the prison to assure her that he had nothing to do with the shooting. The investigating police detectives visit Paul at the hospital to ask why he didn’t mention his mother-in-law as a potential suspect. That’s probably because he had no idea that Beth is Felicia’s daughter. Until now.
