The Vampire Diaries S02E04

Episode 04 - Memory Lane (30/09/2010)

Stefan takes drastic measures to find out the real reason Katherine has returned to Mystic Falls, and is shocked when she reveals new secrets about what really happened in 1864. Damon tries a new tactic to resolve his issues with Mason, but it proves costly. Tyler pushes Mason to tell him the truth about the Lockwoods. Finally, when Katherine delivers an ultimatum, Stefan and Elena are left with very few options.

Returning for its second season, THE VAMPIRE DIARIES is the story of two vampire brothers obsessed with the same beautiful girl, and battling to control the fate of an entire town. During season one, Stefan (Paul Wesley) and Damon Salvatore (Ian Somerhalder), returned to their hometown of Mystic Falls, Virginia, for very different reasons - Stefan was determined to get to know Elena Gilbert (Nina Dobrev), who bears a striking resemblance to Katherine Pierce, the beautiful but ruthless vampire the brothers knew and loved in 1864, while Damon was intent on releasing Katherine from the tomb where he believed she was trapped by a witch's spell all those years ago.

In the season one finale, Elena's uncle Johnathan (guest star David Anders) set a plan in motion that brought the Founder's Day celebration to an end amid chaos, destruction and death, and saw the return of the vengeful Katherine Pierce. Elena's troubled younger brother, Jeremy Gilbert (Steven R. McQueen), was so devastated by the death of Anna (Malese Jow), the vampire who befriended him, that he lost all hope and took an overdose of pills. That same night, Tyler Lockwood (Michael Trevino), Matt Donovan (Zach Roerig) and Caroline Forbes (Candice Accola) were in a serious car accident while trying to escape the chaos in the town square, and Caroline was rushed to the hospital, her life hanging in the balance. The events of that terrible night will also have long-range effects on Bonnie Bennett (Katerina Graham), the powerful witch who was Elena's best friend until the vampire brothers came between them; Alaric Saltzman (Matt Davis) the vampire-hunter who has become an unlikely ally for Stefan and Damon; and Jenna (Sara Canning), who has yet to discover the violence that occurred in her own home.

In season two, the appearance of the villainous Katherine in Mystic Falls will throw a wrench into the love triangle between Stefan, Elena and Damon, and the other residents of Mystic Falls must choose sides as they fall victim to a new breed of danger. New and unexpected friendships will be forged, allies will become enemies, and hearts will be broken. Stefan and Damon will be forced to face a villain more evil and diabolical than they ever believed possible.

Based on the series of books by L. J. Smith, THE VAMPIRE DIARIES is from Bonanza Productions Inc., Outerbanks Entertainment and Alloy Entertainment in association with Warner Bros. Television and CBS Television Studios with executive producers Kevin Williamson, Julie Plec, Leslie Morgenstein and Bob Levy.

CSI Las Vegas S11E02

Episode 02 - Pool Shark (30/09/2010)..

Hysteria ensues when a shark attacks a woman in the pool of a Las Vegas Casino while hundreds are attending a very popular "day club". CSIs are called in to figure out how a Tiger Shark got into a Las Vegas casino pool. The casino owner, Earnest "Booze" Boozell, has had a long-standing rivalry with another casino owner, Danny Macklin, whose "day club" across the street is Booze's competition. Langston and Dr. Robbins notice that the victim's flesh is white not pink at the point where the shark attack occurred and realize she was dead prior to the attack. A puncture wound in the victim's back and surveillance video lead the team to a career thief who drugs her victims before robbing them. This time she unintentionally gave the victim a "hot shot" and killed her before she robbed her. The question still remained - how did a shark get into the pool? Langston examines the shark with the Aquatic Veterinarian Dr. Holloway and realizes Holloway is lying to them about the shark's origin. Before Catherine can interrogate him, he is murdered after someone tampered with his scuba gear. The evidence leads to Booze, theorizing he may have placed the shark in his own pool in order to blame and bring down his rival. The tag number found on the shark actually showed that Macklin was the one trying to set up his rival to get him out of the way so he could make his lucrative "day club" even more profitable.

Catherine is reminded of her father in several flashbacks when Booze brings back fond memories for her since Catherine's father and Booze where friends back in the days of "old school" Vegas.

Fringe S03E02

Episode 02 - The Box (30/09/2010)

The story alternates to the Fringe Team "over here" where they investigate a mystifying case that people are discovered in a trance-like state that ultimately leads to their death. The unlikely suspect: a mysterious box. As Peter and Walter collaborate to study its properties, alternate Olivia presses on and turns up the heat on an unsuspecting Peter. Meanwhile, key information about the future is revealed when Walter and Nina meet at Massive Dynamic for the emotional reading of the last will and testament of William Bell.

Fringe follows the casework of the Fringe Division, a Joint Federal Task Force supported primarily by the Federal Bureau of Investigation, which includes Agent Olivia Dunham; Dr. Walter Bishop, the archetypal mad scientist; and Peter Bishop, Walter's estranged son and jack-of-all-trades. They are supported by Phillips Broyles, the force's director, and Agent Astrid Farnsworth, who assists Walter in laboratory research. The Fringe Division investigates cases relating to fringe science, ranging from transhumanist experiments gone wrong to the prospect of a destructive technological singularity to a possible collision of two parallel universes. The Fringe Division's work often intersects with advanced biotechnology developed by a company called Massive Dynamic, founded by Walter's former partner, Dr. William Bell and run by their common friend, Nina Sharp. The team is also watched silently by a group of bald, pale men who call themselves "Observers".

Season 1 introduces the Fringe Division as they investigate cases that form "the Pattern", many orchestrated by the bioterrorist organization, ZFT (Zerstörung durch Fortschritte der Technologie, or in English, Destruction through advances in technology). Olivia comes to learn she was a child test subject for Walter years ago for a nootropic drug, Cortexiphan, giving her weak psionic abilities. Walter also struggles with adjusting to normal life in Peter's care after living several years in a mental institution, and hides a secret about Peter's past from him.

In Season 2, the occurrences are found to be in conjunction with activities of a parallel universe, which is plagued by singularities occurring at weakened points of their world. The Fringe team deals with more cases that are leading to a "perfect storm" as the parallel universe appears to be at war with the prime one. Walter is forced to tell Peter that he is from the parallel universe, a replacement for his own Peter that died from a genetic disease, and that it is his prior experiments that caused the singularities in the parallel universe.[3]

Season 3 presents episodes that alternate between the two universes. "Walternate",[4] Walter's doppelgänger in the parallel universe, has set events in motion to assemble a doomsday device that reacts only to Peter's biology, sending his Olivia, "Fauxlivia", into the prime universe in Olivia's place, get close to Peter, and guide them to find the doomsday device's prime universe counterpart. Olivia, trapped in the parallel universe, is subjected to experimentation by Walternate to explore her Cortexiphan-induced abilities. She is able to escape to her own universe using her psionic abilities and expose Fauxlivia to Peter. Fauxlivia is extracted to the parallel universe, having withdrawn a critical component of the doomsday device, but soon finds she is pregnant with Peter's child. In the prime universe, Olivia and Peter resolve their relation due to Fauxlivia's involvement, while evidence of weak points in the fabric of reality start to develop.

Cougar Town S02E02

Episode 02 - Let Yourself Go (29/09/2010)..

The big day is finally here. Travis is leaving for college. How will Jules handle it? We’re thinking not gracefully.

Jules has mapped out a plan to ease the sting associated with her baby boy’s imminent departure. She goes nostalgic by wearing a macaroni necklace Travis made for her when he was one. Okay, Jules made the necklace. But she did so by using Trav’s little hands like he was a puppet. Jules intends to spend every waking second with her son until he leaves. But she’s caught off guard when Travis bumps up his departure date.

Jules decides to “slap out” of her funk by accelerating their last day activities. This includes a wild motorcycle ride so Travis is forced to hold onto his mom while fearing for his life. By the way, the reason there were quote marks around “slap out” earlier is to let you know that this is another entry into Cougar Town lingo land. The popular expression is “snap out of it.” But snapping doesn’t have the same jarring impact as slapping, as Jules demonstrates in an open-handed smack to Grayson’s face.

Travis got a brand new laptop for college, so he gives his old computer to his dad. Laurie takes it upon herself to teach Bobby the finer points of traveling through cyberspace. She says, “The Internet is like a series of spider webs that connects us to each other. Oh, except that the webs are invisible. Oh, and the spiders are nerds.”

Odd neighbor Tom has taken to doing nice things for Ellie because he thinks her son died. The kid is fine but the lawn needs cutting big time. So, Tom mows away while everyone else fake mourns the untimely “didn’t-really-happen” death of young Stan Torres. Grayson is appalled even though he enjoyed some of Tom’s delicious sympathy lasagna last night. Tonight Tom’s making Mexican!

Ellie says she never tells stories about Stan because it’s unsexy. Andy agrees for the most part, but wants to tell a Stan story anyway. Ellie warns that there will be severe repercussions if he defies her wishes. Andy can’t help himself. He lets a Stan story fly. As punishment, Ellie decides that she’ll no longer make eye contact with her hubby. This is truly brutal retribution, as Andy lives for his wife’s cold, icy glare.

Andy believes the only way he can out of this mess is to get Stan to do something so amazing that Ellie won’t be able to help but tell a story about it. He decides to get his son to walk for the first time. Of course, Stan’s not quite ready to take that first step. So Andy rigs an elaborate pulley system to help him along. When Grayson pulls Stan up so high that he swings off the ground, Tom believes he’s seeing a floating ghost baby in the window. Boo!

Ellie worries that if she tells one Stan story then she’ll have to tell a hundred. That’ll make her one of those pathetic mommy types. Andy assures her that she’s way too nasty and self-involved for that to happen. Laurie and Grayson wholeheartedly agree. So, when Ellie later sees baby Stan take his real first step, she knows she now has a great story which will surely bore all of her friends.

Jules gets upset when Travis says she’s smothering him. A big blowout argument ensues and Travis storms off to college even earlier than expected. Jules blames Bobby for this. She figures that if he had been around they would have had the perfect goodbye. But Bobby already had his farewell moment with Trav. He says, “We had one of those good, solid man moments when everything gets said but nobody’s talking. I call it a nonversation.” Besides, Bobby was busy learning how to use the Internet so he could email Travis while he was away.

Jules realizes that she’s not the only one who is taking this hard. Everyone is going to miss her son. Leaving is going to be hard on Travis, too. Good thing he’s only going to be living 20 minutes away. It’ll still be rough. But at least Travis gives Jules the nice goodbye she craves complete with a meaningful glance before he drives away.

America's Next Top Model S15E04

Episode 04 - Matthew Rolston (29/09/2010)

Kacey invited the male models from the previous photo shoot over for dinner. The next day, the girls arrived at Knott's Berry Farm for their first reward challenge – they evoked an emotion while riding the park's, Silver Bullet roller coaster. Most of the girls struggled, most notably Chris, who was petrified by the ride. Liz was deemed the best and she won a feature on Tyra.com, photographed by Tyra herself. She chose Chris and Kayla to accompany her, and all three were surprised by a tea party with Tyra. Back at the house, the girls ganged up on Kacey because of the latter's inability to clean up her own kitchen mess and pretentious demeanor.

This week's photo shoot required the girls to portray underwater goddesses while modeling sea creatures, jewelry from Martin Katz, Neil Lane and Mikimoto. Jay was very impressed by Esther who brought emotion and her beauty to the shot, but very annoyed with Liz who kept complaining about her makeup sticking to her contact lenses. Rhianna was castigated because her "flower-child" posing style do not fit well with the concept of the shoot.

At panel, Ann's photo was j'adore. Kendal, Esther, Kacey, Chris, and Kayla also shone in their pictures. Lexie was cautioned not to rely on having profile shots. Rhianna's lack of versatility and Liz's constant complaining landed them in the bottom two. In the end, Tyra handed the last photo to Liz, sending Rhianna home.

First call-out: Ann Ward
Bottom two: Liz Williams and Rhianna Atwood
Eliminated: Rhianna Atwood

The show was created and is hosted by talk-show host and model Tyra Banks, who also serves as the head judge and executive producer of the show. The first "cycle" premiered in May 2003 and was one of UPN's highest rated shows. The show's seventh cycle was the first of the shows among regular programming on UPN's successor network, The CW, and thus far is the network's highest rated series. The opening theme is performed by Tyra Banks and is produced by Rodney "Darkchild" Jerkins. Banks co-produces the show with Ken Mok and Anthony Dominici, and is an independent production of 10 by 10 Entertainment and Bankable Productions (part of the dummy company/joint venture Pottle Productions), distributed for The CW by Bankable Productions and syndicated internationally by KingWorld (and its successor CBS Television Distribution). For the 2006–2007, 2007–2008 and 2008–2009 television seasons, ANTM was the #1 show in average viewers on The CW.

Ghost Hunters S06E16

Episode 16 - Lemp Mansion (29/09/2010)

Let's face it, the Lemp family had some issues. The brewery masters had a beautiful mansion, which stands as a landmark in St. Louis, Missouri. Tragically, the patriarch and three of his children took their own lives inside. Are their ghosts still lingering around the 32-bedroom family home? The TAPS team is about to find out!

Among the reports in "the office" (A.K.A. the room where William Lemp committed suicide) are feelings of uneasiness and of being watched. The bar, meanwhile, was once the bedroom of Charles Lemp, who shot his dog before killing himself. People claim they always see him throughout the house with his pet at is side. In the Atrium, once Julia Lemp's sitting room, people have seen animals. Chairs have moved around, seemingly by themselves, and one time a chair refused to move when someone tried to pull it out. In the basement, which was once a wine cellar, people have been locked in inexplicably. Witnesses also say they've felt people staring at them. In the attic, some have seen shadows and noticed a gentleman that carries a particular odor. There are so many reports of activity that the team has had to install several cameras and cover many rooms.

Staring in the attic are team leaders Jason and Grant, who admit the place has a creepy feel. Then again, it is an attic. An entity instantly begins communicating with the two via the K-II in ways not often seen! While Grant is talking to the entity near the chair, Jay sees a shadow cross by the other door. Whoa. "Was that you walking by us?" Grant asks the entity. And the K-II lights up like a Christmas tree. Whoa! Freaky! But as fast as it started, the K-II conversation stops abruptly. Maybe the spirit got bored?

Downstairs in the office, K.J. and Brit hear a strange groan and note an extremely high EMF reading. Brit notes that people come into the mansion having heard it was haunted -but he notes that some of the noises could just be "old house sounds."

Meanwhile Kris and Amy roam the first floor, chasing shadows and running EVP. They follow the noises and shadows to the second floor but can't develop any substantial experiences.

Finally, someone experiences the nasty smell! Grant and Jason find it in the Lemp bedroom- like someone hadn't showered in a long time plus decomposition. Grant nearly loses his cookies and rushes to the bathroom to inhale some fresh air. When they go back into the room, the smell is gone. Vanished from the entire floor!

Later on, when Grant is in the Lavender Suite, where spirits of dogs have been said to lounge, nothing happens until something whispers into his left ear "Atlantis". Turns out, Jason was in another room and had told an entity to whisper that exact word to Grant. Then Jay does it again with the word "comet". Holy crap. How is this possible? But if it can carry words, why can't it do anything more? The guys are shocked, baffled and frustrated -what a night!

The analysis came up with some new freakish evidence, and Jason and Grant present all of it to Betsy Burnett-Belanger, the current owner. As Jason says, this place is definitely haunted.

Hellcats S01E04

Episode 04 - Nobody Loves Me But My Mother (29/09/2010)..

Lewis asks Marti out on a date, but she turns him down. Later, Alice and Lewis share a sweaty workout session after she convinces him she will stop taking drugs if he helps her get back in shape as a flier. Savannah takes Dan to meet her parents at their house for dinner, where a demand from Savannah's mother leads to an argument.

Hellcats is an American cheerleading comedy-drama television series that airs on The CW in the United States. Based on the book Cheer: Inside the Secret World of College Cheerleaders by journalist Kate Torgovnick, the series focuses in the lives of college cheerleaders, mainly Marti Perkins (Aly Michalka), a pre-law college student who has to join the cheerleading team, the Hellcats, in order to get the athletic scholarship she needs. The main cast also includes Ashley Tisdale, Robbie Jones, Heather Hemmens, Matt Barr, Gail O'Grady and Sharon Leal.

In May 2010, Hellcats had been picked by The CW for the fall 2010–11 season. Initially with a 13-episode order, The CW aired the series after America's Next Top Model on Wednesday nights. The pilot episode aired on September 8, 2010, and became the first premiere to ever match or build on an America's Next Top Model lead-in since The CW began in 2006. The CW later gave a full season order for the series, with executives saying they were "thrilled that [it] paid off for us".

Hellcats follows Marti Perkins, a pre-law college student at Lancer University, who lost her scholarship and has no other choice but to join the college's cheer squad, the Hellcats, in order to obtain a new one. There she meets her new roommate and team captain Savannah Monroe, the injured flyer Alice Verdura, her new partner Lewis Flynn and the Hellcats coach Vanessa Lodge who hopes to win nationals, otherwise the cheer leading program will be cut. All the while, Marti also has to deal with her financially unstable and sometimes irresponsible mother, Wanda Perkins, whom she often has to bail out of difficult situations, and her best friend Dan Patch. Dan and Savannah begin dating and subsequently split after Marti revealed that she and Dan hooked up, but Savannah and Dan reconcile at Dan's brother's wedding.
