CSI Las Vegas S11E07

Episode 07 - Bump and Grind (04/11/2010)..

The shredded remains of a man are found in the back of a dump truck and our CSIs must piece together the evidence in order to find out the identity of the victim and his killer. Checking the truck's manifest, the team traces the dump trucks pick-up to a local shredding company. Shreds of credit cards found with the body are pieced together and establish they belong to Larry LaMotte, the owner of an identity protection firm. Larry and his head of security, Julius Kaplan claim they know nothing about the crime but Langston knows something isn't right. They find Julius is not who he claims and is actually a former mob hit man. Evidence in his home links Julius to our victim; the team also finds Julius shot to death. The gun found near Julius is also linked to another shooting in Reno six years ago. Forensics matches the bullet fragments from that shooting to fragments found on our shredded victim, meaning the gun that killed Julius attempted to kill our victim six years earlier. Our CSIs finally discover the shredded victim's true identity; his name is Larry LaMotte. The identity protection pitchman, Larry LaMotte, is a fraud whose real name is Arlo Karden. Arlo uses the identity protection firm to steal his client’s identities. Our shredded victim is the real Larry LaMotte and Arlo's former partner in crime before he sent Julius to try to kill Larry six years ago. The real Larry tried to blackmail his former partner and in the ultimate twist Julius and Arlo's assistant conspired to kill the real Larry and steal the pay-off money Arlo was giving him for his silence. The assistant got greedy and killed Julius as well so she could keep all the money for herself.

The Vampire Diaries S02E08

Episode 08 - Rose (04/11/2010)

Stefan and Damon come to Elena's assistance and, in the process, learn surprising new information about people, vampires and events in the distant past. Jeremy helps Bonnie after she casts a difficult and exhausting spell, and Caroline does what she can to make things easier for Tyler. Finally, Stefan and Damon reach a new understanding.

Returning for its second season, THE VAMPIRE DIARIES is the story of two vampire brothers obsessed with the same beautiful girl, and battling to control the fate of an entire town. During season one, Stefan (Paul Wesley) and Damon Salvatore (Ian Somerhalder), returned to their hometown of Mystic Falls, Virginia, for very different reasons - Stefan was determined to get to know Elena Gilbert (Nina Dobrev), who bears a striking resemblance to Katherine Pierce, the beautiful but ruthless vampire the brothers knew and loved in 1864, while Damon was intent on releasing Katherine from the tomb where he believed she was trapped by a witch's spell all those years ago.

In the season one finale, Elena's uncle Johnathan (guest star David Anders) set a plan in motion that brought the Founder's Day celebration to an end amid chaos, destruction and death, and saw the return of the vengeful Katherine Pierce. Elena's troubled younger brother, Jeremy Gilbert (Steven R. McQueen), was so devastated by the death of Anna (Malese Jow), the vampire who befriended him, that he lost all hope and took an overdose of pills. That same night, Tyler Lockwood (Michael Trevino), Matt Donovan (Zach Roerig) and Caroline Forbes (Candice Accola) were in a serious car accident while trying to escape the chaos in the town square, and Caroline was rushed to the hospital, her life hanging in the balance. The events of that terrible night will also have long-range effects on Bonnie Bennett (Katerina Graham), the powerful witch who was Elena's best friend until the vampire brothers came between them; Alaric Saltzman (Matt Davis) the vampire-hunter who has become an unlikely ally for Stefan and Damon; and Jenna (Sara Canning), who has yet to discover the violence that occurred in her own home.

In season two, the appearance of the villainous Katherine in Mystic Falls will throw a wrench into the love triangle between Stefan, Elena and Damon, and the other residents of Mystic Falls must choose sides as they fall victim to a new breed of danger. New and unexpected friendships will be forged, allies will become enemies, and hearts will be broken. Stefan and Damon will be forced to face a villain more evil and diabolical than they ever believed possible.

Based on the series of books by L. J. Smith, THE VAMPIRE DIARIES is from Bonanza Productions Inc., Outerbanks Entertainment and Alloy Entertainment in association with Warner Bros. Television and CBS Television Studios with executive producers Kevin Williamson, Julie Plec, Leslie Morgenstein and Bob Levy.

Fringe S03E05

Episode 05 - Amber 31422 (04/11/2010)

The alternate universe Fringe Division investigates a shocking breach of security when a twin frees his brother from a quarantined Amber area. As the team sets out to crack this sophisticated case, Walternate experiments over there more with Olivia as she reenters the tank. Meanwhile, visions of Peter continue to haunt Olivia about returning to the "other side."

Fringe follows the casework of the Fringe Division, a Joint Federal Task Force supported primarily by the Federal Bureau of Investigation, which includes Agent Olivia Dunham; Dr. Walter Bishop, the archetypal mad scientist; and Peter Bishop, Walter's estranged son and jack-of-all-trades. They are supported by Phillips Broyles, the force's director, and Agent Astrid Farnsworth, who assists Walter in laboratory research. The Fringe Division investigates cases relating to fringe science, ranging from transhumanist experiments gone wrong to the prospect of a destructive technological singularity to a possible collision of two parallel universes. The Fringe Division's work often intersects with advanced biotechnology developed by a company called Massive Dynamic, founded by Walter's former partner, Dr. William Bell and run by their common friend, Nina Sharp. The team is also watched silently by a group of bald, pale men who call themselves "Observers".

Season 1 introduces the Fringe Division as they investigate cases that form "the Pattern", many orchestrated by the bioterrorist organization, ZFT (Zerstörung durch Fortschritte der Technologie, or in English, Destruction through advances in technology). Olivia comes to learn she was a child test subject for Walter years ago for a nootropic drug, Cortexiphan, giving her weak psionic abilities. Walter also struggles with adjusting to normal life in Peter's care after living several years in a mental institution, and hides a secret about Peter's past from him.

In Season 2, the occurrences are found to be in conjunction with activities of a parallel universe, which is plagued by singularities occurring at weakened points of their world. The Fringe team deals with more cases that are leading to a "perfect storm" as the parallel universe appears to be at war with the prime one. Walter is forced to tell Peter that he is from the parallel universe, a replacement for his own Peter that died from a genetic disease, and that it is his prior experiments that caused the singularities in the parallel universe.[3]

Season 3 presents episodes that alternate between the two universes. "Walternate",[4] Walter's doppelgänger in the parallel universe, has set events in motion to assemble a doomsday device that reacts only to Peter's biology, sending his Olivia, "Fauxlivia", into the prime universe in Olivia's place, get close to Peter, and guide them to find the doomsday device's prime universe counterpart. Olivia, trapped in the parallel universe, is subjected to experimentation by Walternate to explore her Cortexiphan-induced abilities. She is able to escape to her own universe using her psionic abilities and expose Fauxlivia to Peter. Fauxlivia is extracted to the parallel universe, having withdrawn a critical component of the doomsday device, but soon finds she is pregnant with Peter's child. In the prime universe, Olivia and Peter resolve their relation due to Fauxlivia's involvement, while evidence of weak points in the fabric of reality start to develop.

Cougar Town S02E07

Episode 07 - Fooled Again: I Don't Like It (03/11/2010)..

Jules is turning 42. Luckily, she’s finally dating someone who is older than she is. Grayson is actually only 40 but in “Jules World” he’s 43. There are a few ground rules regarding birthday presents. No gag gifts, no gift cards and don’t give her anything she’s supposed to love because it’s charitable. Jules will pick the best gift-giver. The losers will be judged and mocked. Sounds like a plan!

There’s a new Cougar Town craze you may wish to utilize. It’s called the “truth gun.” It’s a pistol you form with your finger and thumb. When pointed at someone’s head, that person must come clean. Note: Truth guns should not be confused with the finger guns Jules fires off from time to time.

Jules takes her truth gun for a test drive by asking Grayson if he ever thinks of his ex-wife while he’s having sex with her. Yes, the truth gun is a dangerous weapon. This is even more apparent when Andy points his TG at Jules. He wants to know if she believes they’d be friends if he wasn’t married to Ellie. Jules doesn’t think so. Yes, the truth gun hurts.

Jules tries to make it up to Andy by spending some Ellie-less time with him. She realizes they don’t know all that much about each other. Well, that’s not entirely true. Andy knows plenty about Jules. B positive is her blood type as well as her life motto. Jules is impressed. Andy scores even more points when he intercepts an incoming Barb attack. Too bad he sprains his ankle while skipping back to his appreciative friend.

A sympathetic Jules agrees to Andy’s idea of going dirty dancing for her birthday. Ellie had put the kibosh on that notion earlier. She informs Jules that the reason they are going dancing is because Andy played her in order to get what he wants. He’s an evil genius. Like Keyser Soze. Jules refuses to believe it. Of course, that’s partially because she has no idea who Keyser Soze is.

Eventually, Jules believes Ellie is telling the truth about her hubby. She calls him on it. Truth gun to the head, Andy admits that sometimes he fools Ellie when he acts as if her putdowns don’t hurt even when they do. It’s all about making their marriage work. But he would never do that to a friend. Once again, the truth gun hurts.

A neti pot is a little device that allows you to pour a saline solution through your nasal passages. Travis wants Bobby to use his neti pot to flush out his clogged sinuses. It doesn’t go well. In fact, the doctor says Bobby’s nose will be leaking liquid for the next few months because of this failed neti pot adventure. Bobby is mad that he even tried his boy’s stupid college death pot.

Bobby feels like the neti pot is a symbol of the things Travis is experiencing in college. He’s afraid he won’t be able to keep up with all his son’s new adventures. Travis convinces his dad that they’ll always have a bond and they’ll conquer the neti pot together. This epiphany leads to one of the most truly disturbing post-nasal drip musical montages in television history.

Grayson is desperate to find the perfect present for Jules. He teams with Laurie to dethrone Ellie as gift-giving champ. There’s only one way to make this happen: sabotage. They both know Ellie uses information she learns about her gift recipient to find the perfect present. So Grayson and Laurie lead her to believe Jules is into Asian art. Jules actually despises Asian art. She just doesn’t tell people because she thinks it makes her seem racist.

The plan works as Ellie gets Jules a little antique Chinese gong which she hates. Jules also gongs Grayson’s gift of cooking lessons. That leaves Laurie who went behind Grayson’s back to get Jules a lovely charm bracelet. She’s declared the gift-giving champ! The only thing missing from the party is Andy.

Ellie claims her hubby is still working his manipulation game. She’s right. Andy hobbles toward the gang before eventually walking right up to Jules to ask her to dance. Andy admits the only way he could pull off his scheme is because Jules cares so much about him, which is nice. Even an evil genius needs a friend.

America's Next Top Model S15E09

Episode 09 - Margherita Missoni (03/11/2010)

Miss J. brought the girls cycling to Venice, California, where they met Tyra sitting on a gondola. Tyra informed them that they would be traveling to Venice, Italy.

This week’s photo shoot took place in the Grand Canal, with the girls posing in period couture gowns while lounging on a gondola in teams of 3 – Chris, Kayla and Liz in Group 1; Ann, Chelsey and Jane in Group 2. Ann struggled to find her sexiness, while Chris and Liz struggled with numerous awkward actions and scenes. After the shoot was prematurely ended because of the rain, Jay announced that the girls would be headed to Milan for the rest of the competition. The girls were surprised about how their house was not as lavish as per previous seasons. Tyra arrived and explained that this was done intentionally to give the girls a taste of how new models actually lived.

The next day, the girls visited the Missoni Fashion House and walked for CEO Angela Missoni as well as her daughter and heiress to the fashion line, Margherita, in their Fall collection.

At judging, Chelsey and Liz nearly passed out due to the Italian summer heat, prompting Tyra to conduct the photo evaluations while sitting down. Kayla received universal praise,Jane received praise for pushing through even with the hair in her face, while the rest all received mixed reviews. Chris landed in the bottom two because her vivacious personality did not match up to the photographs she took, but it was Liz’s rampant griping that got her sent packing.

First call-out: Kayla Ferrel
Bottom two: Chris White & Liz Williams
Eliminated: Liz Williams

The show was created and is hosted by talk-show host and model Tyra Banks, who also serves as the head judge and executive producer of the show. The first "cycle" premiered in May 2003 and was one of UPN's highest rated shows. The show's seventh cycle was the first of the shows among regular programming on UPN's successor network, The CW, and thus far is the network's highest rated series. The opening theme is performed by Tyra Banks and is produced by Rodney "Darkchild" Jerkins. Banks co-produces the show with Ken Mok and Anthony Dominici, and is an independent production of 10 by 10 Entertainment and Bankable Productions (part of the dummy company/joint venture Pottle Productions), distributed for The CW by Bankable Productions and syndicated internationally by KingWorld (and its successor CBS Television Distribution). For the 2006–2007, 2007–2008 and 2008–2009 television seasons, ANTM was the #1 show in average viewers on The CW.

Ghost Hunters S06E21

Episode 21 - Home Is Where The Heart Is (03/11/2010)

Buckle up! This is going to be a good one. Tonight's episode features one of the finalists in The Great American Ghost Hunts: Beardslee Castle in upstate New York, nominated by Lauren Telarole. From there, the team heads to one of the most haunted cities in America: Savannah, GA.

Beardslee Castle in Little Falls, NY is a restaurant and bar beyond interesting with claims of screams, voices, doors opening, sounds of singing and a form of a lady standing in a window. The place has history to back the claims: a former owner hanged himself there and several people have died in the castle. And of course, the place has a dungeon so - The only bummer is that Jason isn't on the case tonight. But the team will be fine without him.

Steve and Grant get to work on the debunking in the kitchen. Sure enough, the door that opens and closes by itself did so whenever Steve opened another door. In the dining room, where lattice work and bumpy stonewalls could easily create shadow play. Steve leaves to drive around the building to recreate the shadows, but then Grant is taken aback by the sound of singing. Was it Amy in the basement? Nope! She heard it too, more like a laughing noise! They both keep hearing it coming from outside. Brit ran out to see who was out there- but there's no one there. Steve, meanwhile, does his sweep of the area and definitely makes strange shadows in the dining room. More successful debunking!

Kris and Dave are on the 2nd floor where heard sound like keys jingling and knocking sounds. Down in the basement, Steve and Grant pick up some high EMF readings that would make them creeped out. Back in the dungeon area, they hear heavy footsteps above when no one was on the first floor. By the pool table, Brit explains to Amy that electricity could create the balls of light people claim to see.

There was some rather solid debunking for the Ghost Hunters, but also some activity that can't be explained. The evidence included a deep voice speaking on tape and the camera caught what seems to be a box passing in front of the building. Not paranormal, just odd. But there is residual activity in this place. Fantastic.

Next the team travels to Savannah to investigate the 1898 home of the Olson family, where they report seeing the ghost of a girl that has been seen by many places in the same place in her nightgown. The elderly neighbor across the street said absolutely it was "Nonie", who had lived in the house years ago. Black shadows move in the house, the daughter feels like someone is watching her and children have claimed the little girl was sitting on the floor playing.

Jason and Grant hit the house first and talk to Nonie. They hear footsteps, like somebody was running up the hallway toward Jason. Dragging sound- thumping sounds- everything is odd.

Next Kris and Amy take a turn in the house using a laser grid on the hallway. They keep seeing a moving light. Oh wait, that was a laser. Still, why did it keep fading in and out like that? Was something walking in front of it? Maybe the camera in the room caught it.

Steve and Tango use their turn in the house to investigate the attic. EMF was flat, nothing happened. Bummer. Still, the team had some unusual experiences and hopefully there's evidence on tape.

Overall, the house has some exciting activity going on!

Hellcats S01E08

Episode 08 - Back of a Car (03/11/2010)

The Hellcats organize an 80s party to celebrate their anniversary party, complete with costumes and a musical number from Vanessa. Savannah decides she's ready to spend the night with Dan and makes plans for a romantic evening, but things don't work out as she had hoped. Meanwhile, Alice usurps a PR story that was supposed to focus on the Lancer football team and turns it into a story about the Hellcats, which upsets Jake. Marti has some concerns when she learns that Savannah wants to take her relationship with Dan to the next level.

Hellcats is an American cheerleading comedy-drama television series that airs on The CW in the United States. Based on the book Cheer: Inside the Secret World of College Cheerleaders by journalist Kate Torgovnick, the series focuses in the lives of college cheerleaders, mainly Marti Perkins (Aly Michalka), a pre-law college student who has to join the cheerleading team, the Hellcats, in order to get the athletic scholarship she needs. The main cast also includes Ashley Tisdale, Robbie Jones, Heather Hemmens, Matt Barr, Gail O'Grady and Sharon Leal.

In May 2010, Hellcats had been picked by The CW for the fall 2010–11 season. Initially with a 13-episode order, The CW aired the series after America's Next Top Model on Wednesday nights. The pilot episode aired on September 8, 2010, and became the first premiere to ever match or build on an America's Next Top Model lead-in since The CW began in 2006. The CW later gave a full season order for the series, with executives saying they were "thrilled that [it] paid off for us".

Hellcats follows Marti Perkins, a pre-law college student at Lancer University, who lost her scholarship and has no other choice but to join the college's cheer squad, the Hellcats, in order to obtain a new one. There she meets her new roommate and team captain Savannah Monroe, the injured flyer Alice Verdura, her new partner Lewis Flynn and the Hellcats coach Vanessa Lodge who hopes to win nationals, otherwise the cheer leading program will be cut. All the while, Marti also has to deal with her financially unstable and sometimes irresponsible mother, Wanda Perkins, whom she often has to bail out of difficult situations, and her best friend Dan Patch. Dan and Savannah begin dating and subsequently split after Marti revealed that she and Dan hooked up, but Savannah and Dan reconcile at Dan's brother's wedding.

Criminal Minds S06E07

Episode 07 - Middle Man (03/11/2010)

When the police discover a series of women found dead in rural Indiana cornfields, the BAU is brought in to find the serial killer. As it turns out, the UnSub is actually a pack of three murderous college students. As the FBI closes in, our team must find the pack before the leader kills his two partners and eludes the law for good.

When the BAU are brought the case, they are told that three previous girls have gone missing from the strip clubs they work at on Friday night and are found dead in a cornfield on Sunday. A fourth girl, Stephanie Wilson, was abducted the previous night, and our team has less than two days to save her.

Upon landing in Indiana, Hotch meets with the local cop in charge of the case, Captain Salters. Salters is upset that someone leaked details of the case to the media, thinking that the added attention will spook the UnSubs. He’s right: in a bar across town, UnSubs Chris and Scott see news of their murders on the screen. Until that moment, they had believed that they had been “merely” abducting and raping the women, and that their leader, Michael, had drugged and released the girls without killing them. They confront Michael, and Scott tells him that he wants out. Michael tells them that the important thing now is to get rid of Stephanie and lay low for a while.

Meanwhile, Prentiss and Reid investigate the strip club while Rossi and Morgan check out the spot where the last body was found. The first group learns how the UnSubs select their victim, while the second group realizes that the pack releases their victim into the cornfield and let her think she’s going to escape before the leader chases her down and kills her.

Their research confirms the profile: they’re looking for three college students: an Alpha male who has murdered before (Michael), his loyal lieutenant (Chris), and a follower (Scott) who will soon break from the pack and be killed by the others. While our team tries to track down Scott before he is killed, they’re too late: Michael convinces Chris to kill Scott in the middle of a cornfield that night.

At this point, Hotch and Rossi begin to suspect that someone inside the police department is working with Michael and Scott. Someone leaked the story to the media, and the killers seem to have perfect knowledge of police roadblocks. Hotch confronts Salters, and the truth comes out: Chris is Salters’ son. Together, they race to catch the UnSubs before Stephanie is lost.

Michael and Chris are found holed up in their house, refusing to back down. The standoff is tense, and ends with Salters and Michael shooting each other. Salters is hit in the arm and survives, but Michael is killed. Chris is gunned down by the authorities moments later. Stephanie is finally safe, but all three members of the pack are killed.

Criminal Minds revolves around an elite team of FBI profilers who analyse the country's most twisted criminal minds, anticipating their next move before they strike again.

David Rossi (Joe Mantegna) comes out of retirement to help the the Behavioral Analysis Unit lead by Aaron Hotchner (Thomas Gibson), a family man who's able to gain people's trust and unlock their secrets. Also on the team are Emily Prentiss (Paget Brewster), the daughter of an ambassador and a surprise addition that neither Hotchner or Gideon signed off on; Derek Morgan (Shemar Moore), an expert in obsessional crimes; Dr. Spencer Reid (Matthew Gray Gubler), a classical misunderstood genius whose social IQ is as low as his intellectual IQ is high; and Jennifer 'JJ' Jareau (A.J. Cook), a confident young agent who acts as the unit liaison for the team. Also helping the team is Penelope Garcia (Kirsten Vangsness), the team's audio/visual technician.

Each member brings their own area of expertise to the table as they pinpoint predators' motivations and identify their emotional triggers in an attempt to stop them.
