The 36th season of the NBC sketch comedy series Saturday Night Live is currently in production. The season began on September 25, 2010, with former cast member Amy Poehler serving as host and Katy Perry as the musical guest.

Saturday Night Live (SNL) is a live late-night television sketch comedy and variety show developed by Lorne Michaels and Dick Ebersol. It premiered on NBC, a terrestrial television network in the United States, on October 11, 1975, under the original title of NBC's Saturday Night.

The show's sketches often parody contemporary American culture and politics. Saturday Night Live features a two-tiered cast consisting of repertory members, also called the "Not Ready For Prime Time Players" (the name used by the show's original cast), and newer cast members who are known as "Featured Players."

Each week, the show features a host who delivers an opening monologue and performs in sketches with the cast. A musical guest also performs. With the exception of season 7, the show has begun with a cold open sketch (usually based around politically-themed current events) that ends with someone breaking character and proclaiming, "Live from New York, it's Saturday Night!"

Lois finds a video made for her by her mother, Ella Lane, before she died. After watching the tape, Lois makes a drastic decision about her relationship with Clark that takes her to the Fortress, where she comes face to face with Jor-El and Lara. Meanwhile, Tess has a nightmare involving herself as a child and a music box. Upon awakening, she finds the music box in Luthor mansion and sets out to find out who planted it there. Clark accompanies her to an orphanage run by Granny Goodness who may not have the young girls' best intentions in mind. One of the young women living there, Harriet, finds Clark snooping around and decides to take matters into her own very sharp hands. Kevin Fair directed the episode written by Drew Landis & Julia Swift.

Season ten of Smallville, an American television series, premiered on September 24, 2010 and will consist of 22 episodes. It will be the fifth and final season to air on the CW television network. The series recounts the early adventures of Kryptonian Clark Kent as he adjusts to life in the fictional town of Smallville, Kansas, during the years before he becomes Superman. Regular cast members during season ten currently include Tom Welling, Erica Durance, Justin Hartley, Cassidy Freeman, and Allison Mack.

The final season of the series, season ten plans to continue the romance first developed between Clark Kent and Lois Lane in season nine, as well as the continuation of Clark's trials, and the forging of his superhero identity "Superman". During its tenth season, Smallville will beat the Guinness World Record for longest consecutive running United States science fiction television show—currently held by Stargate SG-1

CSI New York S07E08

Episode 08 - Scared Stiff (12/11/2010)..

Our CSI: NY Team investigates the death of a young woman in a part of Central Park that is known for having paranormal activity. The young woman appears to have been "scared to death" with no signs of trauma to the body that would indicate cause of death. The case takes another strange turn when Mac discovers a second female body in the park and gives chase to a hooded man who was trying to dig up the body after 15 years. The second victim, Roni Parker, is the sister of NYPD Chief Ted Carver (played by John Larroquette) who never reported Roni missing. Chief Carver tells Mac, Roni disappeared all the time and he thought she would one day return for her kids who he raised since her disappearance. The first female victim is found to have the DNA of a deceased ex-con on her body and mortician's make-up in her hair. The team traces the evidence to a closed family-run funeral home where the son of the original owner had a disturbing fascination with dead female bodies. He used to lure women to the funeral home, drug and gas them and then dress them to fit his fantasy. He always let the woman go but this time; our victim woke up, still in a hallucinogenic state and ran away. The anti-depressants he gave her, mixed with the gas, caused her to suffocate and die in the park. Mac and the team realize the case of Chief Parker's sister is unrelated to the first victim but Mac is unsettled by Chief Carver's demeanor during their investigation. When Mac learns that someone has been using Roni’s identity for the last 15 years, he knows something isn't right since anyone who stole her identity for so long likely knew she was dead. The investigation into Roni Parker's death will continue in a future episode.

CSI: NY (Crime Scene Investigation: New York) is an American police procedural television series that premiered on September 22, 2004, on CBS. The series was the second indirect spin-off from the veteran series CSI: Crime Scene Investigation and directly from CSI: Miami during an episode in which several of the CSI: NY characters made their first appearance. In season seven the show airs on Fridays at 9/8PM ET/PT on CBS or in the UK on Channel Five on Saturdays at 9:40pm. Repeats are usually shown on Five USA.

The show follows the investigations of a team of NYPD forensic scientists and police officers as they unveil the circumstances behind mysterious and unusual deaths as well as other crimes. CSI: NY was produced in partnership with the Canadian media company Alliance Atlantis. The company dissolved after the third season in 2007 and all production is now done under the purview of CBS Paramount Television.

On May 19, 2010, CBS renewed the show for a seventh season of 24 episodes, that premiered on Friday September 24, 2010. On December 3, 2010, CSI: NY aired its 150th episode.

When a Natural gas company leases land to poor ranching families outside of Vegas, the water starts to poison the population. people start getting terrible cancers, and dying off. The two men who try to investigate the company are both murder in a pay off by the big corporation. Langston and Nick attempt to solve these murders, and at the same time encourage Ecklie to go after the corporation. Ecklie will not have it -- not their jurisdiction. In the end they solve the murders, and find out that that man who was paid off by the big gas company was also murdered.

CSI: Crime Scene Investigation (also known as CSI: Las Vegas) is an American crime drama television series, which premiered on CBS on October 6, 2000. The show was created by Anthony E. Zuiker and produced by Jerry Bruckheimer. It is filmed primarily at Universal Studios in Universal City, California.

The series follows Las Vegas criminalists as they use physical evidence to solve grisly murders in this unusually graphic drama, which has inspired a host of other cop-show "procedurals". An immediate ratings smash for CBS, the series mixes deduction, gritty subject matter and popular characters. The network quickly capitalized on its hit with spin-offs CSI: Miami and CSI: NY.

CSI was renewed for an eleventh season on May 19, 2010.

Back "over here," the Fringe Division investigates a bizarre phenomenon when 15 people up and down the Eastern Seaboard, all suffer retrograde amnesia from listening to their shortwave radios on the same frequency. Much to Walter's dismay, Peter presses on with piecing together the mass destruction device. Just as alternate Olivia and Peter's chemistry deepens, the anticipation of Olivia's return escalates.

Fringe follows the casework of the Fringe Division, a Joint Federal Task Force supported primarily by the Federal Bureau of Investigation, which includes Agent Olivia Dunham; Dr. Walter Bishop, the archetypal mad scientist; and Peter Bishop, Walter's estranged son and jack-of-all-trades. They are supported by Phillips Broyles, the force's director, and Agent Astrid Farnsworth, who assists Walter in laboratory research. The Fringe Division investigates cases relating to fringe science, ranging from transhumanist experiments gone wrong to the prospect of a destructive technological singularity to a possible collision of two parallel universes. The Fringe Division's work often intersects with advanced biotechnology developed by a company called Massive Dynamic, founded by Walter's former partner, Dr. William Bell and run by their common friend, Nina Sharp. The team is also watched silently by a group of bald, pale men who call themselves "Observers".

Season 1 introduces the Fringe Division as they investigate cases that form "the Pattern", many orchestrated by the bioterrorist organization, ZFT (Zerstörung durch Fortschritte der Technologie, or in English, Destruction through advances in technology). Olivia comes to learn she was a child test subject for Walter years ago for a nootropic drug, Cortexiphan, giving her weak psionic abilities. In Season 2, the occurrences are found to be in conjunction with activities of a parallel universe, which is plagued by singularities occurring at weakened points of their world. The Fringe team deals with more cases that are leading to a "perfect storm" as the parallel universe appears to be at war with the prime one. Walter is forced to tell Peter that he is from the parallel universe, a replacement for his own Peter that died from a genetic disease, and that it is his prior experiments that caused the singularities in the parallel universe.[3]

Season 3 presents episodes that alternate between the two universes. "Walternate",[4] Walter's doppelgänger in the parallel universe, has set events in motion to assemble a doomsday device that reacts only to Peter's biology, sending his Olivia, "Fauxlivia", into the prime universe in Olivia's place, get close to Peter, and guide them to find the doomsday device's prime universe counterpart. Olivia, trapped in the parallel universe, is subjected to experimentation by Walternate to explore her Cortexiphan-induced abilities. She is able to escape to her own universe using her psionic abilities and expose Fauxlivia to Peter. Fauxlivia is extracted to the parallel universe, having withdrawn a critical component of the doomsday device, but soon finds she is pregnant with Peter's child. In the prime universe, Olivia and Peter resolve their relation due to Fauxlivia's involvement, while evidence of weak points in the fabric of reality start to develop.

Jeff finds he has been very stressed lately due to the pressure of just one income since Audrey quit her job. To make matters worse, he spent money to lease a space for Audrey to start a cookie business only to find that she is no longer interested in pursuing this. Jeff convinces Adam to help him clean out the leased space to get a break on the rent. As the two clean up the place, they create a new game called “Mannequin Head Ball” a hockey-like game using brooms and a mannequin head as equipment. Audrey and Jen discover an internet feed of the store’s security camera and watch their men play the game like two animals. When the men arrive home and pretend they were stuck at work Audrey is very tempted to bust Jeff. However, when Audrey realizes how much calmer Jeff is, she keeps quiet because she realizes Jeff has been able to release some stress by this extreme physical activity. Meanwhile, Russell convinces Timmy to double date with him in order to impress his sophisticated French date. However, after a lot of wine and playing footsie under the table, Russell and Timmy realize they have been touching each other, not their dates.

RULES OF ENGAGEMENT is a comedy about the different phases of male/female relationships, as seen through the eyes of a newly engaged couple, Adam (Oliver Hudson) and Jennifer (Bianca Kajlich), a long-time married pair, Jeff (Patrick Warburton) and Audrey (Megyn Price), and a single guy on the prowl, Russell (David Spade). As they find out, the often confusing stages of a relationship can seem like being on a roller coaster. People can describe the ride to you, but to really know what it's like you have to experience it for yourself.

Before sending the girls to the streets of Milan for go-sees, Tyra helped them organize their portfolios. Amongst one of their four appointments was Versace – and all the girls naturally headed there first. Chris injured her ankle on the way back. Ann was the only one who booked Versace, though she arrived late for evaluation and was disqualified together with Kayla. Chelsey was the only girl able to visit two go-sees, winning her the challenge.

This week's photo shoot took place at Lake Como, where the girls were to portray statues that came to life. Ann, Chelsey and Kayla all performed well, whilst Chris’s ankle injury caused her some pain, and Jane struggled to be passionate with her male model, causing her to break down.

IMG Models executive manager Kyle Hagler is this week's guest judge. While receiving critique, Jane again became emotional about her being unable to show her personality in front of them. Before deliberations, Tyra castigated all the girls for doing poorly at their go-sees. Jane's consistent lack of presence and Chris's lack of high fashion ability landed them in the bottom two. However, Jane’s meltdown during the photo shoot and at panel made the judges see a crack of her personality, and Chris was eliminated.

The show was created and is hosted by talk-show host and model Tyra Banks, who also serves as the head judge and executive producer of the show. The first "cycle" premiered in May 2003 and was one of UPN's highest rated shows. The show's seventh cycle was the first of the shows among regular programming on UPN's successor network, The CW, and thus far is the network's highest rated series. The opening theme is performed by Tyra Banks and is produced by Rodney "Darkchild" Jerkins. Ghost Hunters S06E22

Episode 22 - Empire State Haunt (10/11/2010)

Pay attention! This is one busy episode. First, there are housekeeping changes to attend to. Then, TAPS travels to New York to investigate a fort that's older than America.

First, the business: Kris and Britt are joining the Ghost Hunters International team and they're headed to Eastern Europe! Plus, Adam Berry, winner of the Ghost Hunters Academy competition who is now joining the TAPS team as an investigator in training.

Now it's off to Fort William Henry in Lake George, NY. This place dates back to before the American Revolution. Forts? Usually haunted. Pre-Revolutionary structures? Usually Haunted. Oh, and during the French and Indian war some Native Americans went haywire after defeating the British and began massacring and cannibalizing survivors. Over 1,000 people were killed. Think there may be a ghost or two sticking around from that? Ummmmm -

The reports from the Fort include lights flickering on and off, footsteps and chimes ringing when there's no breeze. There's also the touching, grabbing, marching noises, a shadow man, bottles moving and apparitions that actually fight with each other!

Here are highlights of the investigation: Jason and Grant hear and record heavy footsteps above the gift shop area - and where they were coming from were display cases so NO ONE could have been walking there! Adam gets to work trying to disprove that the bottles could move independently.

Meanwhile K.J. and Amy hear something running around the gift shop. Steve and Tango hear someone cough in the Colonel's office. Jason and Grant find loads of beehives inside the cannons, a sign that there's probably a lot of animal activity that could be confused for paranormal activity.

The evidence revealed a male voice caught on tape, as well as the footsteps. They were able to debunk some claims, but other things are not so easily explained.

Episode 09 - Finish What We Started (10/11/2010)

Savannah, upset with Marti for keeping a secret about Dan, decides to spend a few days at home to calm down and reconnect with her family. Meanwhile, Marti tries to sort out her feelings for Dan and Lewis and focuses on Travis' case to keep her mind off the situation. Vanessa turns to Red for help after Bill Marsh takes away the Hellcats' gym.

Hellcats is an American cheerleading comedy-drama television series that airs on The CW in the United States. Based on the book Cheer: Inside the Secret World of College Cheerleaders by journalist Kate Torgovnick, the series focuses in the lives of college cheerleaders, mainly Marti Perkins (Aly Michalka), a pre-law college student who has to join the cheerleading team, the Hellcats, in order to get the athletic scholarship she needs. The main cast also includes Ashley Tisdale, Robbie Jones, Heather Hemmens, Matt Barr, Gail O'Grady and Sharon Leal.

In May 2010, Hellcats had been picked by The CW for the fall 2010–11 season. Initially with a 13-episode order, The CW aired the series after America's Next Top Model on Wednesday nights. The pilot episode aired on September 8, 2010, and became the first premiere to ever match or build on an America's Next Top Model lead-in since The CW began in 2006. The CW later gave a full season order for the series, with executives saying they were "thrilled that [it] paid off for us".

Hellcats follows Marti Perkins, a pre-law college student at Lancer University, who lost her scholarship and has no other choice but to join the college's cheer squad, the Hellcats, in order to obtain a new one. There she meets her new roommate and team captain Savannah Monroe, the injured flyer Alice Verdura, her new partner Lewis Flynn and the Hellcats coach Vanessa Lodge who hopes to win nationals, otherwise the cheer leading program will be cut. All the while, Marti also has to deal with her financially unstable and sometimes irresponsible mother, Wanda Perkins, whom she often has to bail out of difficult situations, and her best friend Dan Patch. Dan and Savannah begin dating and subsequently split after Marti revealed that she and Dan hooked up, but Savannah and Dan reconcile at Dan's brother's wedding.

Episode 08 - Reflection of Desire (10/11/2010)

The BAU gets involved with a local murder in Georgetown due to the disturbing nature of the crime: the victim is a girl, Kelly, who was taken captive for three days and killed. When her body is found dumped in an alley, the police are astonished to find that her lips have been cut off.
When another girl, Penny, is abducted from Union Station, UnSub Rhett's pattern begins again. We learn more about the killer, and it becomes clear that his actions are connected to the recent death of his mother: he's even kept her body propped up in a wheelchair in their home. The UnSub has lived with his mother his whole life and has always done what she tells him; he's never really developed as an adult. His mother was an actress, though she only had one significant role in a film from the 1950's. It was shot on location in the Georgetown locales he's now using in his abductions and murders. She was obsessed with the glamour and stardom of that era, and had her son take part in her delusions.

The team – with Garcia playing a key role – must put together the pieces all while the UnSub tortures his new victim for three days…but time is running out. Using surveillance footage from Union Station and Garcia's research, the team has narrowed down the UnSub's location to a specific neighborhood, but going door-to-door would take days. Instead, they decide to use the UnSub's obsession with media and fame to lure him out. The BAU and police host a press conference which they know Rhett will watch. Then, at the end, they stage a phony interruption, saying they have the address of the killer. With cops patrolling the streets, our team is able to take down Rhett and save Penny when he attempts to flee.

Criminal Minds revolves around an elite team of FBI profilers who analyse the country's most twisted criminal minds, anticipating their next move before they strike again.

David Rossi (Joe Mantegna) comes out of retirement to help the the Behavioral Analysis Unit lead by Aaron Hotchner (Thomas Gibson), a family man who's able to gain people's trust and unlock their secrets. Also on the team are Emily Prentiss (Paget Brewster), the daughter of an ambassador and a surprise addition that neither Hotchner or Gideon signed off on; Derek Morgan (Shemar Moore), an expert in obsessional crimes; Dr. Spencer Reid (Matthew Gray Gubler), a classical misunderstood genius whose social IQ is as low as his intellectual IQ is high; and Jennifer 'JJ' Jareau (A.J. Cook), a confident young agent who acts as the unit liaison for the team. Also helping the team is Penelope Garcia (Kirsten Vangsness), the team's audio/visual technician.

Each member brings their own area of expertise to the table as they pinpoint predators' motivations and identify their emotional triggers in an attempt to stop them.
