Episode 11 - Ships in the Night (11/01/2011)

Our team investigates the murder First Lt. Patrick Nolan when he is shot and killed while on a dinner boat with his sister and uncle. Having just returned from Afghanistan we learn that Patrick was the son of the late Richard Nolan, millionaire business magnet. Richard cut Patrick out of his will because Patrick decided to serve his country rather than run the family business. Autopsy results reveal that the shooter was at least 15 feet away from Patrick, who was on the deck, when he was shot. Abby concludes that 15 feet away either meant that the shooter was in the water or on another boat. All the other guest on the boat are eliminated as suspects. Patrick was an exemplary Marine but he was recently charged with assaulting a Gavin Lodge upon his return to the states. Tabloids reveal that Patrick’s sister, socialite Kimberly, recently dated Gavin Lodge and photos were leaked indicating that Gavin slapped Kimberly around. Playboy Gavin claims to have nothing to do with Patrick’s death. Things get even more complicated when Abby finds someone else’s blood on Patrick’s body. Someone else was there with Patrick and was possibly shot as well. We also conclude that the second boat used to carry our shooter was owned by the Gavin Lodge’s family. When a body is found in the Patomac we discover that it’s our shooter who happened to be a shooter for hire. Who hired the assassin to kills Nolan? In the end the mastermind turned out to be Kimberly Nolan and the company’s CFO. Right before Richard Nolan died he revised his will leaving everything to Patrick. Kimberly and the CFO found out that dad revised his will and set out to have Patrick killed. However, they neglected to realize that in Patrick’s will he decided to use the family wealth to start a charitable organization. Kimberly was there when Patrick was shot and was grazed in the arm.

(Naval Criminal Investigative Service) is an action drama, about a team of special agents whose mission is to investigate any crime that has a shred of evidence connected to Navy and Marine Corps personnel, regardless of rank or position. Leading this team that operates outside of the military chain of command is NCIS Special Agent Leroy Jethro Gibbs (Mark Harmon), a highly-skilled investigator and interrogator who is smart, tough and willing to bend the rules to get the job done. Working under Gibbs is Special Agent Anthony DiNozzo (Michael Weatherly) a former Homicide Detective who has instincts that come only from working on the streets. Joining them are Agent Kate Todd (Sasha Alexander), a beautiful, tough former Secret Service Agent who has gone head-to-head with Gibbs in the past. She is killed on the last episode of season 2. Kate is replaced by Officer Ziva David

NCIS Los Angeles S02E12

Episode 12 - Overwatch (11/01/2011)

Two gunmen steal the body of a Muslim man, Yusef Afzal, from the morgue after he was murdered in his home. A classified Navy signature embedded in a type of residue is found on Yusef's body by the coroner before the body is taken. NCIS:LA is called in to find Yusef's killers and their connection to the mystery residue. Eric traces the residue to a classified Naval program that was developed to tag and track terrorists. A former Homeland Security employee, Hector Lee, who worked on the project was found to have been tagging young Muslim men in the L.A area to track them because he believed they all were a risk to national security. Yusef was one of those men and once Eric unlocked the Hector's encryption, the team located Yusef's body but was shocked to find it was on the move in the hospital he worked at. Sam and Callen rush to the hospital to find Yusef's decapitated head near a secured access door where nuclear pharmaceuticals had been stolen. The team uses nuclear tracking devices around the city to trace the men’s whereabouts. Sam and Callen find one of the killers and shoot him dead as they find the nuclear material in his bag. Deeks chases down and fights off the other killer who Deeks shots dead as well. The men intended to sell the nuclear material to terrorists who wanted to make a dirty bomb. Yusef happened to be a technician at the hospital who the killers targeted because they saw he had access to the area they needed to infiltrate and they killed him at his home but needed to then steal his body morgue after a neighbor heard the commotion and came to the house interrupting the killers plans.

NCIS: Los Angeles (Naval Criminal Investigative Service: Los Angeles) is an American police procedural television series which premiered on CBS on September 22, 2009. The series airs following NCIS on Tuesdays.
NCIS: Los Angeles is the first spin-off of NCIS which itself was a spinoff of another CBS series, JAG. On October 7, 2009, CBS gave the series a full-season pickup, extending the first season to 22 episodes. The season was extended again on November 4, 2009, when CBS announced its order for an additional two episodes.

The second season began airing on September 21, 2010, with Eric Christian Olsen (Marty Deeks) joining the cast as a series regular. Olsen appeared in two episodes of the first season as a guest star. Peter Cambor (Nate Getz) was not listed in the opening credits of the first episode, "Human Traffic", but as a "special guest star;" in the second episode, he did not appear at all, nor was he listed as a regular. Unlike previous seasons where a break in production occurred between seasons, the sixth installment was shot several months after Bad Girls Club: Miami was completed. Season 6 debuted with 1.71 million viewers, up from 25% from last season which earned 1.34 million viewers. Season 6 was nominated for "Favorite Reality-Show Guilty Pleasure" for the second annual IVillage awards.

Still believing that Vince is Chess, Max trains him in martial arts and how to use a black cloth as a weapon. Vince vows to fight crime and seek revenge against Chess. Since he can't return to his wife Dana (Jennifer Ferrin) and son Trip (Ryan Wynott), without putting them at risk, Vince takes on the identity of his son's favorite comic book hero, The Cape. Aiding him in his struggle is a mysterious blogger, Orwell (Summer Glau).

It premiered on NBC during the 2010–2011 television season as a midseason replacement beginning with a 2-hour pilot episode. An encore played on Monday, January 10, with follow-up episodes continuing on Monday evenings in the 9 pm timeslot beginning on January 17. NBC subsequently cut the total number of episodes to be aired from 13 to 10 as a result of low ratings.

Susan needs a kidney and Julie is back in town ready to give up one of hers. After all, a blood relative is the best chance for a match. Susan puts the kibosh on Julie’s plan. There has to be another way. Actually, there is. Susan’s mom, Sophie (guest star Lesley Ann Warren), has come to see her ailing daughter along with Susan’s eccentric Aunt Claire (guest star Valerie Harper). Sophie dismisses the notion of giving up one of her kidneys because she’s going on a cruise. Seriously?! Hey, in Sophie’s defense, the tickets are non-refundable.

"Why should she have to suffer for the sins of her husband?"

Susan can’t believe her own mother won’t even get tested to see if she’s a viable match. Aunt Claire says the reason Sophie can’t help is because she has cancer. Chemo treatments start in a week. The cruise story was just a cover. This leads to a touching heart-to-heart chat between mother and daughter where it becomes abundantly clear just how much each one loves the other. Guess that’s the one good thing about a health scare. Susan says, “It makes you think about what the important things are.” True.

As we predicted, Lynette is exacting revenge on Tom in slow, subtle, methodical ways. 20 years ago he slept with her best friend, so it’s payback time for two decades of secrecy. Lynette effortlessly doles out many little pranks like adding salt to Tom’s coffee and taking a seam-ripper to his pants. But stunts like removing the screws from his recliner and planting porn in his PowerPoint presentation take a bit more planning.

Renee eventually tells Tom that his wife is hip to their ancient affair. That’s how the guy knows he shouldn’t taste-test Lynette’s latest batch of laxative-laced brownies. Tom knows his wife is ticked. He’s beyond sorry and hopes that something so meaningless that happened so long ago won’t destroy the wonderful life they’ve built together. A fairly innocuous conversation between their kids has Lynette realizing they do have a pretty good thing. So, we’re thinking her next batch of brownies will be filled nothing more than double fudge.

"You guys are like the mean, pretty girls who won't let anyone sit at your lunch table."

News that Lee and Bob are adopting a little girl has Gaby longing for Grace. She finds solace in the doll she bought. She calls her Princess Valerie. Gaby goes ballistic when she catches Juanita and Celia playing with her doll. She brings it back to the store for repairs. The slightly-kooky saleslady says every doll has a story. We get an uneasy feeling when Gaby tells Princess Valerie’s tale. It sounds a lot like what happened with Grace. No one around here is a psychiatrist, but that slightly-detached look on Gaby’s smiling face can’t be a good thing.

Reverend Sykes convinces Bree to reach out to Beth Young. Gotta love religious guilt. Bree invites Beth over for a little soiree with her friends. Sure they all loathe Beth’s hubby, but that doesn’t mean they can’t get together to enjoy some cheese puffs, does it? Renee is the only one who doesn’t balk at the idea. She says, “You guys are like the mean, pretty girls who won’t let anyone sit at your lunch table.”

DING DONG. Someone’s at the door. It’s not Beth yet. A deliveryman has some beautiful flowers for Bree. There’s no card. They must be from Keith, right? Bree fields a few subtle digs from her friends about the Beth situation as she digs for tip money. She gives the delivery dude a few bucks just as Beth makes her way up to the front door. Time to get this awkward party started!

Bree convinces the ladies to give Beth a chance. Things seem to be going well until the guest of honor leans back on the sofa. Something behind a throw pillow is jabbing Beth in the back. It’s a 38-caliber gun. Hey, that’s the same kind that was used to shoot Paul! Beth smells a set up.

"It would be a shame, a shame, if some meaningless encounter 20 years ago ruined this wonderful life that we have built together."

The rest of the housewives suspect that Beth is the one who planted the weapon. Could she possibly be as twisted as her hubby? Nah. Then who put the gun behind the pillow? The only other person who had access to the room was the flower delivery guy with the mustache and goatee. Make that FAKE mustache and goatee. When the disguise is removed, we see a familiar face. Zach Young is back. Think he returned with a bang?

Desperate Housewives is an American television comedy-drama series created by Marc Cherry, who also serves as show runner, and produced by ABC Studios and Cherry Productions. Hank emerges from prison to find that his scandals have put him back at the top of the Hollywood scene. With the truth out that it was Hank, not Mia, who wrote the book, movie executives want to turn it into a film. Charlie and Hank's new lawyer, Abby, try to help Hank, who struggles with his continued legal problems and the news that he's been exiled from Karen and Becca's lives.

Californication is an American comedy-drama that premiered on Showtime on August 13, 2007. The show was created by Tom Kapinos. The protagonist, Hank Moody (David Duchovny), is a troubled novelist whose move to California, coupled with his writer's block, complicates his relationships with his long time girlfriend Karen (Natascha McElhone) and daughter Becca (Madeleine Martin). Californication's other main characters are Charlie Runkle (Evan Handler), Marcy Runkle (Pamela Adlon), and Mia Cross (Madeline Zima). The show has been nominated and won several awards, including winning one Emmy Award (nominated for two others) and one Golden Globe Award (nominated for three others). CSI Miami S09E11

Episode 11 - FTF (09/01/2011)..

­The team is called to the chaotic, flooding, street scene where two dead bodies with gunshot wounds to the head and neck, Rebecca (40’s), a women in a car that smashed a fire hydrant causing the flood, Marvin (40’s) a man lying dead in the rush of water. They retrieve the casing and gun from the scene and get it to Calleigh for investigation. After Dr. Loman analyzes the inside of Marvin’s skull they concludes that the bullet bounced around in his head then exited through the entrance point and hit Rebecca an innocent victim driving nearby, killing them both. After talking with Marvin’s wife Linda, they inspect his computer and uncover that he has been created a social networking profile, 19 year old “Sean”, and is having on line relationship with 17 year old “Ashley”. Horatio and Delko go to Ashley Chandler’s house and meet parents Larry and Diana to discuss Walter aka “Sean” whom Ashley knows nothing about. Finding gun powder on Larry’s hands, and his gun missing that matches the murder weapon, they take him in for questioning, although his alibi checks out. From searching the family computer they see another boy on line Justin, who is having an on-line relationship with Ashley. Asking him to meet, Justin knew it was not Ashley as the time of day was off, so he paid a guy to meet up with them. The team figures it out and tracks Justin down though a description and license plate and learns that he shot Marvin aka “Sean”, who to him was a creepy guy cyber stalking his “girlfriend” who he has not even met. Shooting Rebecca was a mistake. He and Ashley had made a plan, she stole her father’s gun and left it in his hotel room, and after he shot Marvin they were going to be together. From viewing the surveillance camera footage outside the Motel, the team discovers that it is Ashley’s mother Diana who dropped off the gun for Justin to kill Marvin with. She was using Ashley’s identity to live out a fantasy cyber courting these two boys. She had met Marvin in person and discovered they were playing the same game and although relieved, Marvin was livid and began threatening her life. She was scared her family would find out, and Justin was falling in love with “Ashley” and he offered to kill him for her. Desperate to not be discovered she executed the plan, playing Justin for a fool, and both now going to jail for murder.

The series is a spin-off of the veteran series CSI: Crime Scene Investigation.
