Episode 14 - Rules of Engagement (06/09/2010)
Anne suspects George of cheating again, and they realize that they are staying together for the kids, not because of love. Meanwhile, George, Amy, and Ricky are worried that Ashley has run away, but she winds up hiding in Ricky’s bedroom to try and pressure him into sex. Amy goes to get Ashley from Ricky’s place, and Ashley questions the relationship between Ricky and Amy. Amy hints at George that she knows he’s been cheating, and worries that she can’t trust Ricky for the same reason. But later, Amy goes out on a date with Ricky, and they both seem to trust each other for now.
Leo reveals to Ben that he had Betty’s ring appraised and its price at $50,000 shocks both Ben and Betty, who consider trying to get it back from Adrian. At the butcher shop, Ben begs Bunny to give him back his job because he needs to raise money for the ring—she agrees, but tells him that getting the ring back would be a bad idea. Elsewhere, Ben and Amy meet up finally, and agree to try and stay friends, even though she’s shocked that Ben is considering marrying Adrian. Ben then visits Adrian, tells her about the price of the ring, and she tries to give it back, but he refuses.
Kathleen is worries that Grant and Grace are going to have sex at med camp, so she has a long talk with Grant about abstinence, and he is receptive to the idea, but Grace isn’t. Meanwhile, Tom is offered a job by Milton, and he accepts.
