Criminal Minds : Suspect Behavior S01E06

Episode 06 - Devotion (23/03/2011)

Our team is called to track down a serial killer who is kidnapping random men then killing them by hanging. The crime scene indicates that there may have been someone with the unsub at the time of the murder. The killings happened first in Omaha then in Illinois indicating that our unsub is making his way towards someone or something and it doesn't look like his killings are about to stop. A clerk at a local gas station informs our team that a nervous looking guy was asking about cheap motels along the interstate. That leads our team a trashed motel room with the drapes duct-taped and blue candle wax on the floor. Our unsub has a female with him and we think she may be kept against her will. A third victim is found shortly thereafter and it's confirmed that he was also a registered guest at the motel. Police have a 911 call made by our victim who was apparently lured by our unsub into thinking that he had car problems. The call reveals that right before our victim was hung he witnessed something shocking which is eventually revealed to be a dead corpse. The dead corpse turns out to be our unsub's sister. She committed suicide after their father abandoned the two of them and their letters went unanswered. Our unsub was making his way to DC to ultimately kill their father, now a politician, and along the way killing surrogate fathers. He kept his sister's corpse with him and in his delusion made her watch all his killings.

Forest Whitaker stars in a drama about an elite team of agents within the FBI's Behavioral Analysis Unit who use unconventional methods of investigation and aggressive tactics to capture the nation's most nefarious criminals. Unit chief Special Agent Sam Cooper (Whitaker) is a mentally and physically fierce natural leader who is not afraid to put his career on the line in order to stand by his convictions. Cooper strives to avoid political bureaucracy and has handpicked an eclectic group of profilers to work outside the confines of Quantico: Former British Special Forces soldier Mick Rawson (Matt Ryan), confident and handsome, works as a highly-skilled marksman with an undiluted eye for rooting out evil; John "Prophet" Sims (Michael Kelly), a former convict with a street-smart edge and a calm, Zen-like presence, who is determined to make amends for past sins; and Gina LaSalle (Beau Garrett), an attractive, tough agent armed with a cunning sense of perception. This exceptional group of FBI operatives is strong in their beliefs and steadfast in their mission to bring the country's most dangerous criminals to justice.
